no I knew fakes were pervasive but I didnt know there were sites dedicated to selling fake jeans in that blatant manner. |

How do you guys determine if a site is selling fake products when most of the details that determine if they are fake or not something you can tell from a picture on a model? After reviewing the details to determine if they are real or fake, which really seems to come down to close up pictures. What is the site doesn't have close up pictures? How can you say that the items are fake when you really can not tell from the site itself. My website is on one of the lists above and I have gone through your examples of fake versus real just make sure I was selling authentic items, which I have done my research on my supplier and other suppliers to determine who is legimate and who isn't. When I compared my products to your examples, mine come up on the real side and not fakes. This does not make me at all happy that I have been red flagged for selling fakes when I know that I am not and you guys really don't have the information to back up your claim. I am trying to be professional about this and I hope I haven't offended anyone to much, but I really think you guys need to check out a website products before you go pointing fingers.

Update on this - honestseller was unfortunately taken in. I am certain that her diesel jeans are fake and reasonably sure that her TRs are. She's working with her supplier to attempt a return.
Remember people - EVERYONE here has trafficked in fake goods at some point, most of us unknowingly. Honestseller is a victim in this case, and I am helping her out via offline email. She's a good lady and is trying to support her family so dont be hatin. |
