And it doesn't look as if the stitching is as pronounced as it should be for a BIG T?

Hmm, back pockets look a little weiird too...I'm just getting a bad vibe with these. Think I'll just stay away.

Yep, imo the stitching looks too thin, and the whiskering is really heavy. Also, the back tag looks a little off from far away, but a closer pic would probably help.
