Everyone!
My name is Lisa and I live on Long Island, New York. I'm married and have 2 GREAT kids - a boy and a girl - David and Jenna!! They are 5 years old and they are twins - lots of fun!!!
I graduated with my masters from SUNY Stonybrook in NY. Formerly an elementary school teacher, I stopped teaching to stay home with my kids. Next thing I knew I was peddling designer denim!!
Someday I plan to return to teaching - but not just yet! I feel VERY fortunate to be able to be home with my kids right now and am not ready to give that up if I dont have to.
In addition to feeding my denim obsession, I also love waterskiing, jogging, reading, and dining at great restaurants!
If I can be of help to anyone here, please pm me anytime. Also - if you have any ideas about how to improve the TR section, let me know! I am working on an authenticity guide and would love any input or suggestions! Thanks!

Hi Lisa,
I'm new to honest forum. Thanks for welcoming me. When another member is selling an item, how do I bid? Is it just a mutual agreement or is there actual bidding like on ebay? I'm learning!!!

Just mutual agreement. If there is an asking price, you can either go for it, or try and bargain, a lot of the times sellers will just put 'make an offer' and they will sell to whoever makes the highest/legitable offer.

No, bidding - just pm the seller with an offer or commitment to buy by clicking on their name and choose "send a private message" to the member.

Hi,
I am new to the forum, I have a question about a pair of TR Sammy's and I was wondering if you could help me out. I am trying to find what the wash is called, the style # is 04 529 OM, I understand these are rigid sammy big t from your awesome TR guide, but what does the OM mean?
(These were a thrift score yesterday, 5 bucks!!!)

Hi - the OM stands for Old Multi stitching - the yellow/orange stitching on the pockets, etc. You would have to post pics in order for me to help you with the wash. You can start a new topic in the TR section and post pics there. Great find, I hope they are authentic!!
