Ugh, went shopping at Winner's today after work. Browsing in the denim aisile when I noticed a couple pair of true religions.

First pair was Joeys in an older wash.. medium stone? Looked fine.. except I look down at the hem and they've obviously been altered, with a regular hem too! Not even an original hem. Obviously a return and no one checked the item over carefully.

2nd pair was a pair of FAKE FAKE FAKE joey big ts. Obviously another return, most likely w/ the pair of altered joeys.

Both had the 'runway" tag on them... so someone must have taken advantage of the fact that this location does not carry the runway collections.

I took both pairs to customer service and talked to the manager. I was given the brush off as she didnt believe me when I told her they're fake.

So warning ... to anyone who shops @ the Winners in Madison Centre in Burnaby.. watch out for these fakes! And if you see them on the racks bring it to the manager and tell her the deal w/ them.

It makes me ill to think people would take advantage of store policies like that.. but hey.. nothing new I'm sure.

Any suggestions on what I should do? I'm thinking I should follow up with head office...
