Okay, many of you know how badly I lusted for Havana flares. A couple of you were superstars and helped me find a pair. Now that I have this beautiful pair of HAV2s, they are just a *tad* too small. I am so incredibly bummed because I have wanted these for so long and now that I have them, I feel like I look like a sausage in them. My husband says that I am being dramatic, and that they look a "little" tight, but not sausage style.
I don't understand because I have a couple pairs of 100% cotton size 29 which fit perfect. My dark havana A's are size 30, and they fit perfect, but these don't. Since these are 100% cotton there isn't much chance of them streching is there?

havs run REALLY small...and hav a's run TTS.
try wearing them wet...you could probably get them enough depending on how tight they really are.

Ditto . . . or I know others have used a spray bottle with water in it to spritz just the parts they wanted to stretch out. Good luck and I hope one of these methods works out for you!

I got a pair of NYD 100% cotton a's in a 29 recently, not knowig with rigid a's you're supposed to size up (I'm a 29 in rigid 7s, a 28 in stretch). I was told to wear em pretty damp...and it's *really really* uncomfortable! BUT.... the night I washed them I took them out of the dryer after about 20 minutes and I put 'em on, walked around and did squats and lunges in those suckers, took 'em off and put them on again in the morning while they were still a bit damp and did some more squats and lunges (they were too tight in the thigh and hip) and I'll say with pleasure that I'm sitting here wearing them now and they fit great. I totally had my doubts (hello, sausage thigs!!) but it worked.
I just bought some 29 rigid HAV2 flares, so I guess it sounds like I'll have to do it again!! I didn't know these run small too! How are Panama Bootcuts? Do they also fit small? Anyone?

Nooo! Say it aint so!? I like being able to tumble-dry my jeans. Too bad for me. On the other hand, I'll be doing many squats and lunges!

Panamas definitely run small. They are a lot tighter than my other rigids, the Havanas and Havana2 A-pockets.

Panamas are tight, but IMO the Havanas are tighter. I think I may size up on my Havanas.

Our body constitutions must differ then. Cause I could definitely have sized up for the Panamas instead of strecthing them out.

As much as it pains me, I think I am going to list these in Honest Mall. I went out today and bought a pair of strech nakita bootcuts, in a freaking size 28 (go figure). I have been wearing a 29 in strech lately, but these fit like a dream, and they are comfy and close enough to my beloved havanas..... for now anyways. I really appreciate all of the tips, but I didn't want to risk streching them out, then having them still be too tight. I wouldn't feel right trying to sell them in Honest Mall or on eBay if I had tweaked them.
Thanks again guys!

I'm glad you found some Nakitas and I'm sure you'll have luck selling those in the HonestMall if you decide to.

Thanks, I can't imagine they would be hard to sell since they are too adorable for their own good.
I bought them off eBay, and pm'd 2 HFers for authentication. Would it be bad form to reuse the pics from the ebay auction or should I retake my own?
