refer to the previous thread i posted.

Real or Fake? Can you help me authenticate this pair or Rock & Republic pls..

I don't know how to add more pics to the same thread, so I started a new one with more and better quality pics that my friend sent me...

Can someone help me to authenticate these jeans please. My friend sent me these pics and am so curious if they're fake... I think they are fake ( imo ). The fabric feels ok though, but all the details are just not so right to me.

1) Rivets: the pin at the center of the rivet is sticking out

2) Hems: they're overlocking instead of topstitching

3) seams: in-seam and out-seam are both butterfly-overlocking, usually in-seam is topstitching and out-seam is butterfly-overlocking

4) Care-tag: the white care-tag inside has only one side printed. I usually see the extra care printed on another side of the tag also. PLUS the font and font size are unusual

5) Waist band tag: the sign " & " at the wording "ROCK & REPUBLIC" is not clean

And here are some additional pics: -

Thank you in advance for helping me out

Those...are weird. I really don't know what to say. The stitching is really weird and the wash looks pretty bad. The tag only having one side and a weird font has me scratching my head as well.

Berlin is supposed to be a skinny leg jean. It has the smallest leg opening of the regular womens jeans and those don't look like they're cut properly to be Berlin (although they look like they've been seriously hemmed)

I also can't figure out what wash code TEHS is.

I would say fake myself since there are a lot of things that are off from a normal pair, but I don't know 100% since I'm not familiar with all of the womens cuts and washes. There are a couple of mens washes that look fake just because they aren't good looking washes but I've never seen that tag font used before.

Someone cross posted your jeans over at AF and the conclusion is that they are fake, just pretty good fakes.

Well after reading the AF thread I want to just agree but I can't say fake because the detail is SO good.

I'm going to say no clue then.

^Well, my first conclusion was fake too but after seeing that nobody was responding to this thread I decided to cross post.

In the end, it was concluded that they were fake because of the many things that were wrong with it. I, honestly, was kind of confused too because although the denim didn't look as good as it should, the wash and the R's aren't bad; though upon closer inspection, the leg of the R should bulge out a tiny bit more. :/

Those are bad fakes. The wash is horrible and inner tag is wrong.
