Do you like the wash too? I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing a wash that dark...

Hawt, I love both. I think most R&R backpocket designs are too feminine for men.. Just my opinion though.

well you're the only one ... lol

Rock & Republic - Henlee Bootcut Jeans - Saks.com

DIESEL Quartt in Vast Deep Black Indigo Plain at Revolve Clothing - Free Shipping!

NUDIE JEANS Straight Sven in Dry Black at Revolve Clothing - Free Shipping!

DJPremium.com - Taverniti So - MEG REGULAR 19-INCH: Free Shipping!

hell, gucci, dolce and zegna are doing black jeans, not that i can link to them atm.

regardless, black is a matter of taste, but dark is what everyone's doing; deep, deep blue and "overdyed" indigo are everywhere right now. just look whats on offer at saks, revolve, NM, wherever. you must not find yourself with a very big selection when you go shopping if you only like light jeans! (im not criticizing, just surprised...)

Yeah, maybe that's what everyone is doing, but I don't buy clothes based on what everyone else is doing. I buy what I like. I buy R&R bacause I love the "R". I buy TR because I love the fit and the twisted seams, not because that's what everyone else is doing or because it's "cool". I'm not big on following trends or trying to dress how everyone else does.

I wasn't trying to suggest that whatever everyone is doing is correct. Far from it. (For example, I liked Nudies at the beginning, but everyone and their mother has a pair at this point, they're as played out as Lacoste, so i never ended up buying any.) But your response, "not since the 80s" seemed to suggest that black/dark jeans are dead, and I was merely trying to illustrate that they are more alive than ever.

Fact is, I think any man wearing R&R is breaking the mold already, so the colour doesn't make much of a difference at that point.

And I think twisted seams are an abomination, so agree to disagree.

What do people think is the most feminine of the new RR cuts? Are there other brands that seem to be going this way?

The important point about all this is that RR's cuts are moving more to a more femine style. So surely they are following a general fashion trend. I would certainly think that from checking out guys jeans recently.

I personally love the fit of the Floyd and Henlee.
