Hi everyone,

I am doing my absolute best to be sure that the items I offer at my eBay store are 100% authentic, whether they are Juicy Couture or something else. I'm researching Juicy Couture Beach items, which is how I came upon this site.

I travel a lot, and sometimes pick up items at nicer thrift stores, department store clearance sales, and the like. I recently picked up two Juicy Couture Beach skirt coverups, with tags. I want to make sure they're authentic before listing them for sale, but I'm unable to find definitive answers.

I have contacted a sales specialist at JuicyCouture.com (from Nordstroms) who told me they could only verify authenticity for Juicy Couture purchased at Nordstroms, which was rather frustrating, but I understand the point. The Juicy website also only features the current season's items as well as sale items from the previous season.

The Juicy Couture Beach tags are both green, and the size on both are a Large. The hangtags have Choose Juicy Love P&G on one side, and Choose Juicy Couture (the JC is written in a banner) featuring a coat of arms. The retail tag states Choose Juicy Beach on one side, Juicy Couture Tile Blue Skirt Cover Up and a barcode with the size and MSRP, lot number, and style number on the other. Both tags are metallic gold.

Due to the fact that the one tag states "Love P&G" I'm thinking these are definitely older stock.

Can anyone please help me out in authenticating these? I can post pictures once I've taken them.

I just returned for a full refund a fake Juicy velour suit from couturestylez4u on eBay. If you look at the pics from her previous auctions, they're definitely fake tags. Her latest batch are pretty good fakes, but not perfect. I have pics if anyone wants them.

I just bought a FAKE velour cargo tracksuit from user: nwmcorp on eBay.
All his items are posted as "100% Authentic" but they are not! It kills me 'cause his feedback is extremely high, 99.2%! His fakes are REALLY good though. Had I not already bought Juicy Couture from the department stores, I honestly wouldn't be able to tell if they were fake or not! The tags look decent, the new tags are in the pink, but the YKK zippers are not the same! They do say YKK but don't have the same detailing. Nor is the velour of the same quality!
If anyone is interested, I don't mind posting up pictures comparing the "new" fakes to actual new Juicy Couture velour tracksuits.

PS, has anyone bought off of this user?

Thank you, this was really helpful. I received a top from a friend as a gift and was going to resell it but of course, wanted to authenticate first since I didn't purchase it myself.

There were a few things that I had compared to the Juicy items I bought that seemed off the stitching on the label thing was the dead giveaway- that I had not noticed until I read your post. All of my Juicy items have the label stiched on like you mentioned and the top from the friend has the same color stitching as the label.

I know when my friend bought the tank tops, she said she got them on sale and bought two. I had a feeling she got them at Marshall's or a discount store. The quality doesn't seem bad but the label doesn't have the "shimmer" that my other juicy items have- and the stitched crown seems a lot different from my pieces. Also, the care label on the inside seam says MADEIN PERU (the spacing is almost exactly like that) at the bottom. Probably the biggest giveaway.

Since I only own pants and hoodies, I didn't have a similar top to compare to. If there are ever exceptions that any of you know of, please let me know...I have pics! Thanks!
