I've searched this topic over, sorry if I missed this and this is a repeat post, but I purchased a Lacoste halter dress from Neiman's and verified with the Lacoste Boutique in Scottsdale that it is authentic.

Anyone whos tells you that all Lacoste on eBay is fake, doesn't know what they're talking about. If I buy a genuine item at Nordstroms and sell it on eBay, does that mean it's fake? Of course not. I just bought a Lacoste long sleeve polo on eBay (NWT) for $25. Is it fake? Most likely. But guess what! I compare it side by side with a real shirt I bought at Nordstroms and I can't tell the difference. Not the croc, not the tags on the shirt, not the pricetags, not the material or stitching. None of the photos on this thread would make me believe it's fake. A counterfiter can copy any tag, label, material they want. My advice? If you demend the genuine article, go to a reputable store. If you're feeling lucky, or just don't care, then buy from eBay.

The most important differences are not going to be visible. They're going to be in terms of the effects to the world economy. Buying fakes is wrong and bad, no matter what the context...

I totally agree!!!
Also, on a different angle, I am a fashion design student, so I would never want to pay someone for being unoriginal, and stealing someone elses creativity. Thats why brands like ABS and Guess disgust me.
What I was saying AMEN to was the part about if you're so worried about possibly buying a fake then go to a reputable dealer and buy from them!
Arizona is full of these kids it seems that want to like the 'Laguna Beach' kids but can't afford it so they buy on eBay and whine and throw hissys when their purchase arrives and they find it to be a fake!

If you buy fakes, you are essentially partaking in copyright infringement. If you look at it that way, your partaking in illegal activity

Anyone bought Lacoste polos from OnlyInStyle.com? http://www.onlyinstyle.com/template/lacoste-men.html

They are really cheap, but it seems too good to be true. Anyone know if they were legit? I tried searching at a few different sites and couldn't find much info.

Thanks!

Sorry! It has been awhile since your post, but on my Lacoste the button holes are both horizontal. I only have one real Lacoste to compare it to though.
The button holes on my Lacoste (from Saks, so I know it's real!) are vertical...so I guess this varies?

that one looks good to me.

*i read the croc and writing on the polybag should be all white, not green
croc and black letters. if you look closely at the pic, you can see it.
*you can also ask for better pics of the price tags and see if the size and
color desc. matches.
*check on the shirt's logo that the line from the croc's mouth does not
touch the one from the tail.
*check the seller's fb: most of this one's neg feedback is people griping
about shipping they already knew they had to pay.

also, i bought a womens stretch on ebay from irma253, and IF it is fake, it is a GREAT one. buttons are real, sewing is first-class, all details match char's original 'real' pics.

off topic: i've gotten so many compliments both times i've worn it. matter of fact, it's my lucky shirt for
