i would say these are good knock around jeans (like melting pot, jake agave, some AGs).
you wouldn't put these on in place of RR, TR, WR, Diesels...but thats just my opinion. jsd

I work at PPD in Los Angeles. They have some really great fits, and the jeans are all very high quality. They haven't gotten very adventurous with the washes, but I LOVE the jeans I got when I started working there. So although I wouldn't say they would get a huge place in my closet, they are certainly worth having.
My favorite style is the Doheny, which is their straight leg cut. Anyone familiar with Los Angeles will notice every style is named after an LA Landmark.

is the wash posted on that little white tag? b/c the pair I bought is a Doheny straight & it's listed as "Static"....it's not a crazy wash, but definitely not basic either. I really like it a lot.

Yeah the pair I have doesn't list the wash on the inner tag by name but by a wash number. Mine is Belmont Shore, I think!

they are one of my fav brand jeans - its just there isnt much of it out there compared to the womens line. Finding them at a discount price is always the best! you have to search hard but you eventually come in contact with a few pairs since they aren't very popular for men... yet! just like it took seven and citizens a little while to drift into mainstream menswear, where girlfriends/wives buy jeans for their significant others.
Ps. designerdesire is there a NY office with any job openings?!

^^ i've seen them on sale for about $100 at nordies rack before.
i really like the quality for PPD and would totally endorse them all the way. i saw them at nordies rack before when i was w/my dbf but i think he didn't want to spend $100 b/c he was low on dough so he missed out his chance then. but, i'm sure when next time rolls around and it's there again, i'll try to convince him to pick up a pair.
i don't think it's a girly brand, nothing about them indicates girly to me! except if i start seeing some of the las flores and las palmas styles in them men's backpockets, i'd suggest my dbf to run away from that brand asap hehe
