I just bought a pair of j brand pencil leg jeans in the ink (dark blue) wash. They are fabulous, but I think I may need to size down one. I bought my regular size 26 and they fit OK, but they are suuuuper stretchy and they are just a tad loose under the butt and crotch area if you know what I mean. They are also loose in the waist. I am worried that if I size down they will be too tight in the thighs, though. Do you think I could size down one and still be OK?

Does anyone own the ink wash? I know it is pretty popular so I thought that I'd check the forum. Thanks a lot for any feedback!!!

I have the Lovestory in Ink and I have them in my TTS. They are stretchy, but there would be no way that I would be able to fit into a 26! I also have larger hips and thighs, though.

I should've known, AC!

They fit good in the thighs not super tight or anything, but I'm afraid they will be if I size down.

The fabric kinda pops out in the bum because they are so stretchy and a tad too big there. That looks really silly, so I suppose I can't wear them as is anyway. May as well try sizing down to see what happens, right? I don't think I would have much luck trying to shrink them or anything...

What do ya think, AC?

Did your Lovestory's in Ink shrink or stretch out at all when you washed them? I tried on a pair today at Saks and loooved them but I am between a 29 and 30 and wanted to ask that question before I choose.

Also I hesitated because I need them hemmed about 3 inches and am concerned that if I try to keep the original hem they will look funny after you take 3 inches off. Agh.

I used to manage a little boutique that sold designer jeans and in my experience with jbrand, they always stretch out. I would recommend going down in size if you are in between.

Welovedenim, I had the bootcuts in Ink and I am also between a 29 and 30 and the 30 would always stretch out too much. I would go with a 29.
