Hey guys, I'm working on compiling a combined sticky for brands like Joe's Jeans and William Rast to try and help authenticate and anwser fit/wash questions, etc. If you have any good (high quality) pictures of the tags, rivets, pics of popular washes, cut/wash information, sizing help, really anything, PLEASE don't hesitate to PM me I've got a pair of Joe's at home to photograph, so if worse comes to worse I'll get pics of those up in about 2 weeks over vacation.

Thanks for your help guys!
Natalie

I've tried on J Brand jeans in both the 14" cigarette leg and 12" pencil leg and I love the fit of the 12", they fit well, TTS, the cigarette leg, I'd probably size down.
I think they're a great first pair for skinny jeans - good quality denim and I love the basic back pockets as well

I bought my first pair of JBrand just a week ago, but I got bootcuts and then tapered them in myself because it was cheaper. Went to about 14.5", I am not daring enough to go lower! I think I should have shelled out for the ones I really wanted though, because I'm still trying to get used to the 'solid' Ink wash. Are those you posted in black or in ink? I can't tell my monitor is dark

The ones I got were the mid-rise jeans. (Once again, only because I paid $49.99.) The midrise don't sit prefectly right on me I think... I am sorry if this is TMI, but the crotch area hangs kinda low. It even seems that way on the model here actually. I guess it means I could never get camel-toe, heh. I like them anyway and I've already worn them three times this week.

So I would definitely recommend JBrand, it's pretty nice stuff Very comfortable and simple. I like the 'feel' of SFAM more but it's a nice change of pace. It is good quaility denim that will break in nicely, unlike the other jeans I have that I always fear I'll rip.

Oh, and size down if you can. I got the smaller of my two sizes and they fit perfect off the bat. I figure I'll be washing these harshly and throwing them in the dryer to rid them of their solid wash, so I don't really care... I am trying to break them in FAST.

...it seems that the 14" cigarette and 12" pencil run a size big so it is recommended to size down, but it also may vary depending on the wash, i've heard that the Ink wash runs big and it does I tried on the 24s in 14" cigarette and they were loose..

Actually, it depends on the batch. I have a clothing store and ordered the J Brand 12" Pencil Leg jeans in Black and Ink for the store. For some strange reason, both colors fit differently. I normally wear a 26, and in the black ones, I fit a 25. In the Ink, I fit a 26. I layed the jeans down flat, measured them on top of one another and realized that they sewed the Ink batch 1/4" bigger. It was really wierd. The styles are identical. The only conclusion I came up with was that the person who sewed that particular batch messed up. I've talked to alot of people who wear J Brands, and they tell me that they always have to size down. I think you just have to try them on to really see if they fit. It's sad that they're not consistant.

Also, they are extremelyyyy soft and stretchy, VERY comfortable. Size down if you get a pair because they are so stretchy!
