The reality is, very few of us are getting it right...I don't want to hear some stupid, vapid compliment - I want to hear what I'm doing wrong so I can fix it. And if I want to disregard the advice, so be it.
Even PeterAlexia's criticisms were on-point, but he never posted pics of himself so it looked like he was afraid to take any flak himself.

If my boss hadn't told me what was what, I'd still be wearing ties and shirts of the same color, I'd still be wearing bad Italian dress shoes, I'd still be committing any number of fashion f***-ups. But I guess there's no such thing as a fashion f***-up in "ElectricLadyLand," huh?
BTW, your reflexive negging of my posts and anyone who dares to agree w/them is really transparent. Just so you know.
Just so we can get this back on-track (in spite of how much I love debating this), I'll post a pic when I get back from lunch, and you can tell me how ridiculous I look.

Since I never asked him about them, I can't comment. Never bought anything from them either. I'd be interested to read/hear why "they are considered suit gods by many."

Yes, there's no "wrong" in the strictest sense - you're not going to be locked up for dressing a certain way. But every situation is a social situation, unless you're sitting in your room all day posting in WAYWT threads. If there are no standards and there is no right and wrong, let me go buy a pair of Khoffas, size up 5, and wear some pointy-toed shoes from the 70s. Then if anyone says "You're doing it wrong" I'll tell them they have a personal problem. Sound logical?
This is dumb...we've had the same argument three times now. I post an opinion, and you for some reason feel compelled to remind me that it's just my opinion. Don't you think I know that? The more you tell me that my opinions are a problem, the more it looks to me like you just have a problem with opinions. Or at least, opinions that are different than your "no right, no wrong" credo.

In my opinion, those jeans are a bit TOO BLUE for this outfit ! The contrast is too flashy. But maybe its just the cam... ( 71V i guess !? )
Apart from that, it looks OK...

Tee: That isn't a photoshop. That looks more like a kindergartener's MS paint failure at humor.
lauriebell: Way to take a picture of your outfit at an angle where no one knows what the hell you are wearing and how it fits.
edit: Don't want to add anymore meaningless posts to this thread, but the whole point of WAYWT is to show your style. As an infrequent poster here, your style is a bit ambiguous, and therefore the angle chosen seems to be quite improper. Just say'in y'know!

Tsu - I know that what I am wearing fits me just fine - I'm not posting to receive any validation of what I'm wearing today from HF, hence why I rarely post in the WAYWT thread. Thanks though!
ETA: I'm not implying that frequent WAYWT posters are looking for approval and validation of any sort from HF members

Why ME ? I don't criticise that often. Rather rarely...
Particularly as there's nothing to criticise ( Maybe the angle and the fact that i can't perceive details.. )

Lauriebell, one thing I can see and love is the tucked in striped button down. I like that look with a nice pair of denim. I am wondering as well what denim you are wearing. I just realized I don't even know what your favourite brand is.

Tee and Mizz J ~ they are MEC Dojos. I have been a fan of the tucked in look lately - I feel like it gives a longer, cleaner silhouette and doesn't make 5'2 me look any shorter than I already am.
