Hahaha that's really funny. One of the ways I got into Diesel (I used to be into Seven's originally - probably due to the sorority girl influence that got me into designer jeans in the first place) is because I have a lot of international student friends. And I'm not sure if you know, but international students, I'd argue, are the best dressed. And they mostly dress in international brands like Diesel, D&G, etc. So I guess I sorta picked up their habits and started wearing diesel.

A typical gathering would be exactly like yours pictured, except there'd be a white guy (me).

Oh and where was this picture taken? Seems like an empty storefront or something...

Yeah so I got a new lens yesterday so I was able to use my DSLR to take pictures today. YAY.

Me this morning when I thought I was going to SF but my traveling mate got sick and neglected to tell me. I felt a bit cheated that I dressed up and wasn't going anywhere so I figured I'd take pictures and post them here. At least I get some value out of it.

And now that I've filled out my camera's range with some wide angle I took the opportunity to take some pictures of my backyard (well sorta). I love how sometimes (and this morning was one of those times) the fog will just settle in among the rolling hills. It's quite remarkable to see.

Thanks! Oh I purposely didn't show the ground because that's were 90% of the mess resides (yeah my mess "resides").

And I think my mother is liable to kill me for leaving my room in this state. She's part of the old guard that believes in making beds, organized closets and drawers, etc...it drives her nuts

Is that an engagement ring there on your left ring finger???
I think you should embrace your curly hair, I like it much better than straight. This is coming from a fellow curly head.

Thanks blm and liz...sometimes my hair looks good curly, sometimes it looks like CRAP, got lucky today it seems...probably something to do with no humidity in Modesto. Liz- what do you use on your hair? My new favorite product is the TIGI curls rock stuff, it's almost like a thick lotion. That + mousse usually tames most of my frizz. And, also- NOT an engagement ring, just some ring I liked that would only fit onto the left ring finger...I don't even have a boyfriend much less a fiance!

A lobster is always welcome in my backyard. I think there's even a little stream (at least in the winter) where you squish squish around in.

Kate you gotta try bumble and bumble curly hair products. I just use the conditioner and curl creme, it is the best. I have a shit ton of hair so I triple up on product to keep it from mlooking like diana ross. First paul mitchel wax works, then bumble and bumble curl creme, then bed head shine junkie. The strange thing is that after all that my hair is still giant and not overly goopy.

WHAT? Well now that I'm armed with that valuable information I think I'll start my courtship of a fellow HF'er. hehehe kidding. Damn, I know NU guys have a bad reputation, but looking like you do, and dressed like you are, it shouldn't be a problem at all [especially since the average NU girl is such an undesireable commodity ] finding a prince charming among all the rabble at NU. hahaha

haha, I know what you mean about having a SHIT TON of hair...I think yours is definitely longer than mine, but it looks like we have equally massive and thick hair! I have always wondered about the Bumble and Bumble stuff, but I hate buying expensive hair products without knowing much about them. I'm broke as a joke right now, but my birthday is in a month, and which point I may have to go on a hair products shopping spree!

Yes my hair is super long. Past my boobs and I wear a C or D cup...
Bumble and Bumble is well worth the $$. When I was in college I didn't have money either, nor access to fancy hair products so it all worked out. I have since become a connoisseur of all things luxurious. Good thing I have a well paying job, and so does my hubby! :P

hahahaha, I have no idea why those are there. It's the closet in my dad's office that is empty except for 10,000 hangers, some random art supplies and board games. I don't think anyone in this family has used crayons for a good 5 years!

You really do want to try Bumble and Bumble hair products, even if you don't know this yet--great stuff for everyone, and really great quality. I use their styling products, which smell good and work magic on my hair. So when you get that b-day money, include this stuff in your gift package to yourself!
