There are some very sharp dressers on SuFu, but for every sharp dresser there are innumerable users that are so obsessed with being "next level" that they just look stupid.

JSKidder's explanation of his own style as "rugged elegance" has stuck with me, and I don't see too many people on SuFu adhering to it. There's that one guy who dresses like something out of Spinal Tap, and the kid with the cutoff Diors...a lot of those dudes look like straight-up clowns. I actually think that James is one of the better dressers on that site due to the fact that he keeps it more or less restrained...if Dior arm warmers are your greatest fashion crime, I think you're doing OK.

Also, there isn't enough style on that board to warrant the amount of vitriol that gets spewed everywhere. Guys like JMatsu are bitter because they're ugly, and just turn that place into one big poo-flinging orgy. The mall is indeed good, but it just feels like MySpace sometimes with all the preening and flaming that goes on.

*ETA* Honestly, there are very few posters @SUFU that have any real style. There are however a few....half the time I can't even see the fits in their "artistic" pics.....some of the pics are cool....most of the fits are no better than ordinary and some are down right ridiculous..my first posts were for shock value and obviously got the intended result

Never said all that, but I do like the way he dresses. I'd love to be your biggest fan but all I see from you is hoodies and such.

I would dress more like that if I had a wallet of comparable size. But I don't.
