For some reason, my posts are appearing randomly in the middle of the thread instead of at the bottom. See my thread in HF-Chat for examples.

It's annoying how many "dead" threads have been revived as of late. Here are two possible solutions to reducing the number of them...
1) The occurance could be related to the forum's feature that displays "related" threads at the bottom of each page, even if the "related" threads happen to be months old. Perhaps this feature could just be disabled?
2) It might be better (though more difficult to set up) for the forum to generate an automated prompt when a poster is about to reply to a thread that is more than, say, a week old. "THIS THREAD IS XX DAYS OLD. ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO ADD A REPLY?" No offense to the thread necrophiliacs out there, but it seems the posts that revive dead threads are often low on the thought meter. It would be nice to force these folks to think for a second before resucitating.

A bigger inbox. I realize that it's probably a feature for paying members, but AF _does_ give all of its members a 150 message inbox, and I'd be pleased to see that matched here. As it is, I'm clearing out my inbox a couple of times a day.

What russ said. I've done it a few times by accident because it popped up on the "related" threads and I clicked on it without thinking. I like #1, not #2 -- I don't need the BBS-code talking back to me.

I keep on getting page not found errors...
I guess that's correlated to HF dying yesterday?

Having page not found errors with search and pm's but the PM's go through. I just can't search at the moment? Not sure if it's my network or the forum...

Yep same here. After I send a PM, it goes straight to page not found. It happens when I'm trying to delete a PM too.
