A bit of technical feedback in regards to the Honestmall.

A lot of us spend a good deal of time creating an ad in the honestmall. Writing the descriptions, arranging the font, copy and pasting picture links, ect..

It often gets lost if we accidentally forget to click on what other forms of payment we accept besides paypal. When we receive the notification that we have to go back and fix something, and we get taken back, the thread form is completely blank and erased and the time we spent writing it out is gone.

Why not just copy and paste our thread before going on? The picture links dont get recopied once they are translated into pictures, and often doing this is something that slips our minds. Plus for some reason if I highlight my whole ad, it wont allow me to copy it to the clipboard.

This may simply be a limitation of our browsers, or the forum software, but if at all possible to fix, please do so.

Please make it so that if we have an error or missed a field and get taken back, all the information we wrote is still populated in the fields. This will save a ton of frustration.

Thank you for your consideration.

The inbox capacity for subscribing members is way too conservative in my opinion.

Almost every free forum I go to has a much bigger inbox capacity and they're free! A pay site with less space than a free site? I know you guys want to encourage people to upgrade to a pro membership, but I think that the current capacity for regular subscription members is beyond inadequate.

Increasing Inbox space will also limit on all the "Hey <User>, your Inbox is full!" threads and posts that take up space and dilute the content of the forum.

Increasing Inbox space will help improve communications, and prevent delays in buying and selling in the Honestmall, and generally make things a little bit smoother.

Please increase the inbox to atleast 200, preferably 500 messages.

Thank you!

^Usually when that happens to me I click backspace and everything is still there.

I agree with you on the picture thing though, I wish it would go back to a link to make it easier to copy and paste and to fix.

Also to piggyback on your post when you click on "preview thread" to make sure your listing is ok, the field where you have to choose your secure payment method automatically gets blanked out so you will have to backspace or click your secure method of payment a second time before you submit the thread. Thats also a flaw in the system.

suggestion:

a general fashion forum.
i know that maybe the HF Chat is supposed to serve this purpose (true?), but nothing goes on there except paris hilton and look-at-how-bad-i-have-it threads.
i also know that this is technically a denim specific forum, but general fashion goes along with high-end denim, right?
so all my "general fashion" questions have gone to my "home", in the diesel section...but i feel like thats not how it should be done, and that i might be missing some good opinions...

to activate clipboard, press 'editor mode' button...this is the little a/a button on far right hand side of the toobar------>>

mind you, this little sucker does have a tendency to slip of the end of the page when you most need it. f*ck knows why?!!

^ I agree, I think another general fashion section would be a great addition. We've got Other Brands, but that's used mostly for authenticating odd items/Juicy/William Rast/Frankie B.
