Well Dave....

Here we are again...your site's broken and falling in shambles thanks to our hard work and efforts at showing the regular HF member what this place is really about.

We exposed the secret moderator section to the regular user to show him what was under the surface.

We exposed the super secret HF advisor section to the moderators to let them know just how much they were valued here (not at all).

And we planted seeds of distrust and dissent all among your board to put focus on the issues that mattered -- the sheer profit you derive from this site -- the thousands of dollars you make every month and how you keep them for yourself.

No accounting, no accountability. What a beautiful charity this place is. You pass judgement on vendors who you can't say with 110% certainty are selling fake wares and you just care about one thing -- the money you make from these users.

They are just here to learn about jeans and make a nice friendly community and you cannot even give them the decency to show where their donations go. We all know where they go -- to your pocket.

And now you want to charge for premium memberships do you? $25 x 7000 members should be pretty nice, shouldn't it Dave?

We have always been against you. The utter destruction that we have caused among the mods and the resignation of your #2 wasn't what we had hoped for but we have the feeling even he has realized what has taken place here. We wish him the best in life and luck as he has finally realized the immoral nature of this site.

The hackers, whatever they were trying to do in the past, have NOTHING to do with the current situation. The mods found out about this on our own.

Well, people here know now who is on the advisory board- and most mods are not on it. Tha hacker said he showed it to the mods, but Idalis said somebody else showed it to them. =)

Ben is BLM14, he's a "supermod" as we call him, and is the moderator of the Diesel section..Very knowledgeable guy, and he's helped us all out in some way

I like "the Sandbox," because it's where you play when you are 5 years old which, you'd have to agree, is a simpler time in life. Though I did think of an outhouse when the hacker mentioned #2 at the top of this thread.

yes, the advisory board section just appeared to us all one day when we logged in. it was there in plain view, just as you see the CHAT section now.

Almost been here a full year. Longer than some mods I think. Nearing 2500 posts to my name.

You're forgetting something Dave, you're not the one that fills Honestforum with content. We are. It's our posts. It's us who authenticate denim in people's eBay inquiries, it's us who make stickies on how to spot fakes, it's us who buy and sell in the Honestmall, it's us who've used this site as an archive for our submitted-content, and a place to help out one another. You, have nothing to do with it. You have posts once in a while, maybe showcase some Apple commercials, talk about a new ad you're putting up, or some charity of some sort, but never something that Honestforum is actually founded upon. You're trying to profit by our work, making us pay for what we've created. What is this, the fucking pyramids? No. No, it's not. But you're damn-near getting there. I'm not going to build a tomb for a pharoh, and I'm not going to pay to help people, or to give information and advice. That's completely backward. If anything, members that post valued information should be rewarded, but that's not going to happen.

Point is, it's immoral for you to reap the rewards for work that isn't yours. And for someone that enjoys pressing his moral standards on others, well, you leave me quite perplexed.

This site must make enough from ad revenue to support itself, and charities, etc. And yet they want to take in even more? For what?

Well, thanks for that. I mean, this last minute restructuring Dave's doing to try and save the site is kinda meaningless. Like, this is the kinda shit that needed to be done before everything surfaced. 'Cause now that it's here. I see it more as just an apology, and not really a solution. Like, if the drama clears up, will all this continue? I don't think so. I think this is just a make-shift response to settle the fire that's raging here. And once it's gone. It's gone. And so is this.

And we'll be back to square one.

Do I blame Ben for leaving? No. He built that Diesel section. And this is how he's repayed? Ouch. That's just disrespectful.

I don't blame the hackers for doing what they're doing.

Fuck, I've thought about hacking the site myself in the past little while, because, quite frankly, I'm worried about what else is being hidden now.

This place is a train-wreck.
