Hi I have a question in regards to Paypal and shipping

I recently bought a pair of jeans through the honestforum and the guy sent out my jeans, and gave me a tracking number. When I went to USPS to see the status, it said that the item was delivered, but I never got anything in the mail! (said it was delivered today, but i didnt get it)

It does say my City and Zipcode and what time it was delivered though, but I never got anything. Is it possible for me to still dispute this or no? Maybe the person who sent it wrote the wrong address down when they shipped it? (they didn't use paypal to print out the shipping label because I never got an email from them, I just got one from the seller which they manually typed out)

IS there anything I can do? Because I have a feeling if I try to explain my case, the seller wont believe me and paypal wont believe me either since it said that it's arrived but I still havent gotten anything in the mail. I honestly have a feeling that either the post office is late (which is odd bc it said that its already been delivered with a time/zipcode/city) or when the seller shipped it, he hand wrote the address down wrong.

Any advice would help! Thanks! On a happier note, I do hope that my package is just still waiting at the post office waiting to be delivered (but it's quite odd how it says that its already been delivered)

I would try going to your local post office with a print out of the tracking and see if they have it. Go through that channel first before opening a dispute. Also, I would let the seller know the situation. Good Luck.

I imagine it will turn up. You won't win a claim on PayPal because the item is marked as delivered.

I just called the post office, and they said that they scanned it twice, accidently, and it was supposed to be "Attempted to deliver" meaning that they have not yet delivered it yet. They checked and it wasnt at the post office, so does anyone know what actually happened to it?
