... IS KILLING ME !
i'm sorry but i have to rant about how much i hate what has become of our economy. Everything around me is either closing down or raising their prices extremely. I'm sick of pumping gas that is basically quadruple what it was only a few years ago.. I hate going grocery shopping, and paying almost $4 for a gallon of milk, while the couple in front of me who are paying with EBT food stamps are living beautifully buying lobster, shrimp, turkeys, meats.. practically all the good stuff and getting it for free and driving it in their new benz/bmws/caddilacs back to their assisted living apartment with FREE water, heat, and CABLE too. wtf? And all the blockbusters are shutting down around me, all the small business like local restaurants and bakeries i grew up with are closing down. It seems like everything is going up and nothing is happening to our income. So how does that equal out? basically i think we are fucked and we are heading towards depression pretty fuckin soon. When will any of this pass?

Its ok guys. We have obama coming. Don't you know he's going to make everything better? Thats right, incase you just couldn't get enough of this socialism teaser, the real thing is coming soon.

ETA: I apologize beforehand, but I have to insert a rant. The forwarding of capital to the failing mortgage companies was quite possibly the STUPIDEST thing this country could have done. The only thing that would have resulted from the possible bankruptcy of these companies is that the people who couldn't afford houses that they purchased would have lost them, forcing them to either go homeless, or reinvest in a house that they were able to actually afford. These vacant houses would either be sold off at sub-market prices (negating the need for a sub-prime mortgage) or left unsold until the market came to equilibrium. This "bailout" is nothing more then huge bandaid on an open wound thats going to slowly peel off and expose the original problem worse then it was. The ONLY reason this bill was passed is because the people who have the power in this country want to remain in power. They know that if they do something to kick people out of their homes, those same people aren't going to be voting for them again. Instead, they do things to make the people happy and keep their sorry asses in office. We're f*cked, up the ass, way hard.

Damn, you know we are really in severe economic despair when no one has any money to rent films and Blockbuster stores accordingly go out of business.

well i've never thought i'd see the day blockbuster would close down, there is about 5 that are withing 10 miles of my house and they are all going out of business.. along with some shaws, stores such as linen nd things, ethan allen, michaels, starbucks, petco. come on a petco !? lol .. its just redic how even some huge banking companies are bankrupting.

oh and yes, im not trying to be mean.. i know not all people on food stamps are like this.. but from what i've seen ( ive worked at a grocery store ). Alot of the people that have FS do nothing. obviously. My boyfriend has been doing the electrical work at assisted living homes/apartments.. and it's just awful. I've visited him there before.. and you would never expect it to be the ghetto. All the cars are either fairly new benz,bmws,audis...you get the point. and the homes they live in are decent. they all look the same .. but they all have nice roofing,cobblestone, grass. Once i went to bring him lunch and a family was moving in a 52'in lcd inside..along with a surround sound system. That's where our tax money is going. wonderful.

blockbuster been gone here before this stuff mainly because nobody rents movies no more you can use netflix or just download. Also where I live gas has gone down like a whole a dollar im guessing it will be like 2.98 or something tommorow right now it is 3.08. I think people are panicing to early for this stuff, bush will be gone soon we have two guys who can help make change. Whats really hurting us is the greedy people is getting real scared and taking all there money out and just closing it down and making the ppl who need a job suffer.

No, because I don't work at the strip club.
I tried ithe cocktail waitress gig for one night.. and i realized that this wasn't the place for me. I felt like i had no dignity, like i was dead inside. I wasn't walking around in panties and a bra.. but still. The money was good.. I received $130 for only 3 hours, but i'm sorry..some of you men out there lack manners
