future series of bumfights should be good, because they'll have a much greater pool of talent to draw from.

So poor people should be relegated to eating the cheapest and lowest-quality foods? Or the tradeoff for taking food stamps should be the government regulating what you can EAT?!
If she's buying filet mignon with her EBT card my bet is she hasn't got much money left for anything else...
Altho I have to admit you kind of have a point on the health care thing, but someone is a drag on the healthcare system whether they're eating nothing but steak purchased through your EBT card or their own cash. You're making an argument for changing the healthcare system, not the EBT card system...

really? so your solution is to do nothing...let the banks declare bankruptcy, freeze the whole credit market and kick people out of their houses.... splendid
this world can't function without credit....allowing several gigantic lending institutions to effectively go out of business serves no one.....kicking people out of their homes just increases the already over saturated housing market...but this time in an economy without a functioning credit system

Yeah, the financial crisis is hitting Wall Street quite hard - not good when you're an undergraduate business major at Wharton...I heard that our school's career services office put out a bulletin offering help to any Wharton graduate that had been laid off because there had been so many. Luckily, I'm not dead set on becoming an investment banker.

People on food stamps should only be allowed to eat government canned meats.
the kind of meat that still has hair, bones and teeth grinded up into it.
