Obviously you're going to get more traffic if there's no fee associated with joining. Additionally, more people will utilize the mall if we revert back to the old format.

Hell yes. But i'm just wondering what is honesty? So the buyers wanna buy great designer items from hf members ($100 and over), but they juz don't wanna pay only $10 for registration fee???? Would it be fair for hf members who paid $10 before? We're discussin' about honestmall not Sufu supermarket or SZ classifieds. So we need honest sellers and serious buyers.

I'm not too worried about this. Its new members signing up to sell items and then peace out after they are paid is the biggest concern.

how about limitations? a free membership allows only 3 simultaneous listings while paid memberships are unlimited. those who are hf members could probably "graduate" to HF Plus and pro members remain pro

I personally think scrapping the membership fee and having the old mall back will bring people back. Having listings approved before appearing in the mall would bring down the fakes imo.

I like the new mall much better.

But, yeah, taking away the fee will improve sales. I think all members who previously paid could be upgraded to Premium Membership for free if that happens.

the only problem i see is flooding the mall with easy access scammers. what's gonna stop 20-50-100 people from making an account, posting up authentic pictures and running away with the cash.

the only difference between scamming and mass-scamming in the mall now is well, the 10 dollars.

the fee just makes the mall less appealing to scammers.


how abouttt, if you take out the fee, everyoneee MUST be a verified paypal member. that way, everyone is protected under the verified member policy and there will be less scamming going on.
