Am I allowed to call Anton a f*cktard? LOL
IF I could vote, I'd vote for Obama because if nothing gets done to improve the health care system SOON (by any party), I'm going back to Italy with my AMERICAN husband and children.
P.S. of course, I'm not naive enogh to believe that he will really do what he says, but at least there is a chance.

And if you want an MRI in Canada be ready to wait well over a year. We the people in the U.S can only do so much for each other. Damn, some people who live in Canada are giving me a fucking headache. The next time your prime minister is elected I'm going to critique everything about them.

I don't know why you quoted me saying how your government has been borrowing billions of dollars from the federal reserve at interest. Basically printing money as they need it. Because what you said has nothing to do with that.
I'm tired of you Americans talking completely out of your ass, so let me set some things straight.
Krystal brought up a good point. Canadian heath care has wating times. Instead of thinking 'every person has to wait to get an mri' do some god damn research. It completely depends on which province you live in, and whats wrong with you. The whole system runs under federal guidelines to ensure for same level of care for everybody, but each province runs things differently. The problem mostly exists in rural areas, and the SAME thing happens in the U.S because rural regions simply do not have the same staff, equipment, and patient to doctor ratio like in the citys. In the end these facilities end up getting less funding and waiting times are created. Don't get me wrong, I've waiting up to three months for an MRI before, and lots of Canadians go over to the US for MRI's. But what about the number of people who come to Canada for a free flu shot?
I've listened to Bush and other people on the news saying that Canadians don't get to pick their own doctors and that rich people get better care and access to the top specialists. Yet again your government has lied to you to make you think we suck. We get to pick our own doctors like in the US, and poor Canadians have the same access to specialists as wealthy people.
skidmark and some others seem to think what everyone else thinks, that our Canadian heath care system is socialized. In such a socialized system our doctors would work for the government. That doesnt happen, in Canada doctors work for them selfs, and the insurance company is the government (not like in america where there are hundreads of insurance companys). It's not a socalized system its a free medical system or 'medicare for all'.
Like I've said before, Canada has to do a lot more inorder to perfect our system. We simply don't have the funds for the system to be perfect, and if you americans would stop thinking that you own all the oil in the world, maybe alberta would be making money on its oil instead of losing money.

I don't have a problem with Canada, I think your great! What I don't like is how nit picky you get (not just you) with our politics. I understand you border us and thats fine if you want to care. We don't talk out of our asses. We live here, we know what it's like. Contrary to what you hear on the news, it's not that bad. Sorry I forgot to mention that certain provinces have wait times. I don't want to keep fighting with you. But everyone else please understand that anything nationalized by the government will fail. The government can barely control our finances now, I'm scared to see how the do with healthcare and education. We cannot give them that kind of power. I think we need to crack down on the insurance companies and see how much fraud they charge us!
I hope Americans know we consume 25% of the worlds oil. And that our main suppliers are Mexico and Canada. We rely on you Canadians too.

I hope your supporting Ron Paul then, because hes the only one advocating for what you want. If any of you think Obamas policy in regards to Iraq differs from Mcain than I hope you take the time to read the REAL facts and stop listening to this propaganda that both parties have spend billions of your tax dollars on. You will still occupy all of the countries you currently occupy, and your image around the world will not change one bit.
And don't even begin to say you rely on Canada for oil. Your government has let a monopoly happen within the oil industry that should have never happened. It takes years for two satellite radio company's to merge but one day for the oil company's to merge. They buy our oil and sell it back to us at a higher cost, were getting fucked and so is everyone else.

If this is what the average American has to say about someone from another country who believes in REAL CHANGE for Americans then you guys are in some deep trouble. Cez, did you know that more American Troops have donated money to Ron Paul then all other parties combined? Tell the people who risk their lives everyday, if they know how Ron Pauls nuts taste. Good one Buddie, very clever indeed. I finally understand the Witt of you americans and why the world is so fond of you all.

I am from another country my family was forced out during this little thing call the Contra war. I don't know if you've ever heard of it? Soldiers used to run up into people cribs and shoot them because the GOVERNMENT did not protect them while the US armed rebels raped, looted, plundered and killed innocent civilians just to keep democracy safe in America's. You can sit there all smug quoting numbers about who cares about the people but you have no idea what your talking about.

To think, some people reading this thread might come away thinking that LinuxChild knows the first thing about Ron Paul's position on health care. Ha.
