Effective immediately, temporary bans will be used on HF again.
Guidelines:
1. NO formal warnings or infractions (read: computer generated form letter warnings) will be given for trolling/arguing/disrespect. Warnings/infractions can be given for persistently spamming the forum with personal ebay sales, etc. Members may receive PMs from mods asking them to stop a certain behavior. Additionally, members may see a post in a thread from a mod asking them to stop acting in a certain manner.
2. A set percentage of mods must agree on a course of action - either a temp ban or a permanent ban. While we are trying to avoid drastic measures by reinstating temporary bans, this is not to say that some cases will not warrant a permanent ban without first using a temporary ban.
3. If after voting, the mods decide on a temp ban, a two week suspension will be given. If the trolling/arguing/disrespect continues after the ban has been lifted, a permanent ban will be given immediately.
4. If you are not a previously banned member, having another username will result in automatic one month suspension of your original username (plus a full ban on the second ID) from HF. If you make another username after returning from the suspension, you will be permanently banned.
If you are a previously banned member, well then obviously a full ban will be issued ASAP.

Each month, the mods will select 1-4 members to upgrade their membership for free. We are open to nominations from members, so drop any of us a PM.
We will announce the newly upgraded members on or around the 15th of each month.

These threads will be permitted to stay open as long as people aren't saying "I want her to get to syphilis and then I want to run her over then back up again, she is so [insert adjective here]"
(I can already see Sevs creating a thread and making this the sole post in it).

It gives light members full membership, and regular members pro membership. Larger inbox ect ect..
Those that contribute exceptionaly will be uprgaded for free, its like a thank you to the more substantial older members, and it awards the newer ones who make an effort to help this community |
