Yes I'm an exception to that silly quote.

getting a virus doesn't mean you need a new computer. backup your data, stick in the winb1ows CD and reformat. google for more in dept instructions.

Yea, Ubuntu has gotten rather user friendly over the years. But theres not a hope in hell he'd be able to get it running. To much do it yourself setup and command-line crap you have to deal with. Yall should be using open source software tho. it's fucking pimp.

So you're saying dee is just too dumb to follow instructions and needs to get a pimp to score with the ladies.

Get a mac so you can go to Starbucks and start writing in public, and when people walk by you, you can go, "HEY, LOOK AT ME, I'M WRITING SOMETHING IN PUBLIC SO I CAN ENJOY MY $5 COFFEE, AND I AM TOTALLY NOT SOME HIPSTER DOUCHEBAG!"

Apple right now reminds me much like early Microsoft. They have been getting huge the last couple of years and no end is in sight for them. Also in the same way, just like early Microsoft, a large number of people are still skeptical and unwilling to make that switch. Microsoft is/is going to be on the decline in the next decade or so. Apple is growing and growing with great ideas coming from every direction, while Microsoft has been struggling to keep a hold on its "fan" base. Microsoft will always stay alive solely for the cheap computers in the business place, but as more and more Microsoft software is being mad compatible with Mac's, even more people with home businesses are going to pick a Mac.

Looking into the future, if you'd like a company that's going to bring new, high-quality products and applications in the future, pick a Mac. If you like how Microsoft has been these past few years, pick a PC.

In either case I'd say get a desktop over a laptop...
