ok we just put in another cool mall tweak. now you can easily list your items for sale in the honestmall and then paste all that information and pics into ebay really easily.

just grab the code from honestmall page and paste into ebay

and it should show up nicely in ebay. with all the images resized, and watermarked.

we are really excited about this system. would love to hear some feedback on this. hopefully this will make it really easy to list stuff in the mall first and then if you want you can throw it up on ebay really easily!

thats an interesting antique collectible book. i assume you still need to operate all the drop downs on your own lol.

I just noticed that in one of my listings. That definitely makes it a lot easier, even though that's what I started doing anyway....listing in the HM first (easier to upload pics), then copying and pasting into my ebay listing. hmmmm although a good idea youre walking on thin ice when it comes to ebays "links policy." theoretically they could remove any listing with that watermark that has a url back to this site.

just a heads up if you do this and get your item removed that might be why

the watermarks should be no problem.

the images will link back directly to high-res versions hosted by honestmall.

you often times see it on ebay where people host imageshack or photobucket pics and you can click on them to view them bigger.

Ditto on that. eBay prohibits its listings to redirect members to rival sites. it's a bit of a grey area since this is just via watermark (but advertising nonethless).

If I ever cite HF in my listings I'll type the name out and ask people to Google the site. I never, ever put up full url addresses - that'd be a sure way to get your listing yoinked asap.

also in the photo policy it states

WOW!!! This is so cool! It will also make it easier to know who on ebay is an HF member (and trustworthy too!). Great idea, I can't wait to try it out!

Thank you for the new Watermarks too... It's like having an HF Badge of authenticity on your items, hehe.
