It only has 80gigs? I couldn't use a hard drive that small. Yay for mail added to the iPod touch though... I'm still going ot hold out for 2-3 more updates before I buy.

I don't see the point of the Macbook Air (no firewire/80gb hd is a joke) and it is indeed waaaay overpriced. Maybe I'd buy it for $800 cheaper.

^ Eh, I wouldn't want to have to rely on an external. It's def a cool design, but I think I'll stick to my macbook until they squeeze in a few more features.... Maybe add the optical drive and a bigger HD... oh, and when they get around to it, a REGION FREE dvd player would be awesome!*

*Meh, I'm still bitter because the cyborgs at Youtube deleted my show and the new season is only a month away!!

That's INSANE! I'd probably snatch it up

The new update is only $20 software anyway, but there are a few bugs with the actual design that I'd like to see sorted out.

I only bother reading the bad reviews, so maybe it's fine.

Macbook Pro is due for an update though so I'm surprised it wasn't updated.

^^i always laugh when i find mac haters on this forum- in general, don't we appreciate quality, innovation and uniqueness? In the same way that our preferences in denim influence what's mass-marketed at americaneaglecrombiemart in a year or two at a lower quality, there's no question that Apple shapes the future of the entire consumer electronics industry in this same way. Even if your preference is for cheaper (read:shitty) computers, at least respect Apple and Jobs for having more balls, brains and marketing genius than almost any company of any type.
