I think I read of this earlier this year, or last year. I didn't realize it was the college tazer incident till the end though. I guess now I know how it started, but yeah the authority is fucked up. ABUSE OF POWER.

i didnt see a problem...he was causing a ruckus, the people in charge didnt stand for it, and they asked him to leave...he didnt so they removed him by force...what am i missing?

edit: apparently, i fast forwarded and missed the tasering. I think he deserved the taser...he started getting physical and the police didnt want to get hurt so they tasered him...its like when they tasered that UCLA student...he deserved it. and it was comedic.

At least we don't just kill people like they do in some places.

Some people just don't like the consequences of their own actions. Lack of discipline in the home leads to lack of discipline everywhere, IMO.

it's easier to subdue a person with help of others, no? especially if you don't want anybody (both the officers and the offender) to be seriously hurt. and no, getting tasered does not cause serious bodily harm. the body recovers very quickly from the effects of the taser.

There was a man here in pittsburgh who was tasered after he was found wandering around on the highway and he wouldnt answer to the police, well he died shortly after being tasered.
It was never revealed if the guy was on something, though.

if you get tazzzzed theres really no lasting pain. its one of the weirdest things i (meaning you) have ever experienced. its like if you got punched in the nose but then 5 seconds later you feel nothing from it.

No matter what you do you cannot explain this to someone who does not understand or even want to understand. Its all about how "the man" is keeping people down and not about consequences for ones actions. I really am curious how others would handle the situation but so far there are no ideas. One must also remember he was doing this in front of a US Senator (a very rich one at that) so security is going to be tight.
