Ah, but it has video on it, so I forgive them.
The touch feature on the normal iPod is GREAT. I'm really happy about that.

p.s. I'm half-convinced that the hand in the ad is made of wax -- Apple - iPod nano - Gallery - Photos
It'd save them the trouble of swearing the model to secrecy, for one.
re.: them being included with back to school -- I think they are. What you get with the computer, according to their web site, isn't a physical iPod, but a mail-in rebate. |

i agree...it does suck to be an iphone owner, lol
this is perfect...my ol' school ipod u2 is slowly acting up. it might be time for an upgrade....
although only having an 8 or 16gb choice for the ipod touch is pretty weak imo.

I think the new Nano looks better. They had to make it fatter so it can have a bigger screen, yet its shorter, so its less mass, which makes it look fatter, but its really smaller. It's probably small enough to fit in your coin pocket. Very cool.
I just wish the iPod classic had the same sized screen and design as the iPod touch.

Did someone here say the ipod touch is a phone as well???
Anyways, the only real disappointment for me is that the ipod touch is only 16 gbs of memory. Thats too bad. I need a lot of memory. I might just have to buy the ipod classic instead now. It is priced extremely well and should be the best seller for sure, especially the 80 gbs for 250 dollars and 30 hours of music battery life, you cant go wrong.

the capacity is alright but the internet browsing feature more than makes up for the lack of capacity. i check my email all the time and the new ipod touch will allow to visit HF while i am in class.  |

... so sorry to hijack this thread, but I'm putting together my september laptop order, and MAN, it sucks that they want an extra $200 for DVD burning capability. hay there, price jacking!
are macs really worth that much?

out of curiousity, what do you guys do with your old ipods (I guess ipod here is the electronic equivalent of diesel - buy several pairs, never question the quality): store in the closet, throw out, give away to friends, charity, resell on ebay for more than it's worth?
