Yes he was quite the narcissist and a downright bad fellow, not to mention his bad mother.

yes, but his mother was Agrippina who married Claudius and convinced Claudius to adopt Nero and who is believed to have plotted the demise of Clauidus by poisoning.

Needless to say, the beast (Nero) was a very bad guy. Can history repeat itself? It sure has done so many times before.

Ben, I think it might have something to do with a Korean church I've heard about. I searched around some, and can't find specifically what I'm thinking it is.. I haven't much time today, but ask one of these people if they are Korean.

More later.

Here is the best link that I could come up with. The reason this seems like what you are talking about is the mission oriented nature of these churches, spreading the word, as it were.

In relation to the post(s), you can reflect on todays gospel message. You know, about the near times, its TRUE. Hard to believe when i was an adolescent, i did not believe, but know with how society is today, with the unfaithful and evil-doers, all that i can do is pray for them so they can turn their lives arounds. We have to really listen in our hearts in complete silence.

Gospel
Mt 7:21-29

Jesus said to his disciples:
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’
will enter the Kingdom of heaven,
but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.
Many will say to me on that day,
‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name?
Did we not drive out demons in your name?
Did we not do mighty deeds in your name?’
Then I will declare to them solemnly,
‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you evildoers.’

“Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them
will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.

The rain fell, the floods came,
and the winds blew and buffeted the house.
But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock.
And everyone who listens to these words of mine
but does not act on them
will be like a fool who built his house on sand.
The rain fell, the floods came,
and the winds blew and buffeted the house.
And it collapsed and was completely ruined.”

When Jesus finished these words,
the crowds were astonished at his teaching,
for he taught them as one having authority,
and not as their scribes.

WTF? This is the kind of crap that stops people turning 'to Jesus'. If people weren't so pushy to jam religion down other's throats then more people might actually listen insteading of turning out the lights and hiding when the missionaries approach our doors.

So how do you turn to Jesus??

How?? If people do get offended, i apoligize, i do.....

But if someone is going to tell me how to do this and that, then i am sorry, at least
im doing something about it, where in some others..... they are not. im learning, and i know we all are learning something new everyday

All i can do is pray for them, so they can actually listen and not quickly judge.

Anybody has a right way? a right order to spread the word?? Why did Jesus and his apostles get persectued?? I know this is just basic Christian knowledge, but i am quite puzzled. I am not condoning religion, but i RESPECT everybodys beliefs whether they do or are not PERIOD

Those Mormons, Jehovah's, and etc maybe stern in what they do, but basically they are trying.... which i do RESPECT.

Back to topic, These crazy "ASIANS" might be crazy, but heck, i do give them credit in what they are doing. RESPECT what they are doing.

Sorry Bourgeois, but even though you are meaning "well" you are threadcrapping on blm14's thread....go start a new one if you want to talk about this in depth (that is if its not against rules? about religion discussions)

BLM14, if you find out who these people are, what are ya gonna do (talk to them, beat the crap out of them, or what exactly)?? Just curious....

I love the black jews. Those guys are in harlem a lot. The jews for jesus call themselves "Jesus for Jews" now. Please keep the proper nomenclature. Thanks.
