Okay...so I just went and had a look over at denimdna and the fake NAV is so obviously a fake. An example...

Obviously this is NOT Tim. When has he ever posted with crazy capitalization like that? Maybe it is just from having taught writing so much...but it is also very clear to me from the writing style that it is not Tim. That is not his tone or voice at all. Talking about coatimundi does not a not_a_virus make.

It's official. My account on denimdna (username is "the REAL not_a_virus.exe") has just been approved by the mods there and I cleared my name up there.

An IP check verified this and it was discovered that the poser was...

Wow, what a great example of a mod he is over at that other forum (which I'm not surprised as well...you should see the email I got from this guy one time...I once messaged him on eBay, but he didn't know it was me, and he immediately started bashing on HF out of the fucking blue without me even inquiring about it lol). actually, i did once start a goofy coatimundi thread on that other forum (i'm trying not to be specific to avoid inter-forum drama), and the story is pretty complicated, but to make a long story short, fosterzmom started a thread there that i found to be very offensive (something about "lol lindsay lohan's privacy was hacked into and her private information has been spread all over the internet haha that is great i feel good now"), and i voiced my opinion about it, and then a whole bunch of people attacked me for it, and i guess they got more frustrated because they tried to make me feel bad but i just laughed at them, so they stalked me and they also bumped my OLD coatimundi thread JUST SO THEY CAN CONTINUE TO throw totally random, generic e-insults. i guess they were just determined to make me feel bad, but i couldn't help but laugh so i guess that just only made them try harder so they'd keep posting e-insults (threadcrapping btw) in the same coatimundi thread. i'm guessing they felt real embarassed whenever i'd bump the thread because they didn't want anyone to see how obvious and offensive their threadcrapping was in my coatimundi thread.

btw, i'm still fucking blown away that of all people, it was treasurehoard who'd do something like this. but again, i'm also not surprised lol.

Have just read more of the DDNA threads and I can't believe that someone would put that much energy into pretending to be not_a_virus and doing such a bad job of it.

The posts are insane and CLEARLY not NAV. It doesn't sound like him, it is not how he writes. Most high-schoolers could have done a better job of impersonating him. But I think that your average teenager would consider that sort of behavior too childish.

I can't believe that a MOD of another forum would involve himself in something so low and pathetic. What an effing moron...he should have known that he would be caught. The IP stuff makes it pretty easy.

I could go on for a while about how dickless and stupid I think the perpetrator is...but really, I think that it is pretty gosh darn clear.

NAV, I guess I just didn't understand why you made a billion posts after the coatimundi thread was locked. As I said on AF, I didn't think the LL or Coatimundi threads were that offensive or irrelevant (more so than anything else that people post, anyway)...but what did seem childish and bizarre were the following posts.
I'll definitely give you that people's responses to you were not respectful and some (including another mod), seemed completely inappropriate given the lack of any obvious malice in your posts.
More disturbing yet is that someone went to the trouble of impersonating you.

I think its silly that treasurehoard would do that. I have made no secret that the forum he is a mod on is the one I feel the least comfortable on but I do think there are a few great people on there cherokees gal and jessica for two that rarely post here in anymore and I miss them.. they are both great girls. But i do find it a bit childish that any mod would find the need to impersonate a very popular member of the online communities...

it the same way I felt when super future or whatever the heck it is started pulling pics from our WAYWTD threads and railing on the outfits... b/c they are not cool or different enought to fit in there.. stay in the forum you feel most comfortable in or be active in any of them you choose but why act so chilidish about it all.. most of us are freaking grown ups

I publicly want to apologize to virus for doubting him. He has been a good friend. It would never cross my mind that someone would take the trouble to impersonate someone. I know it's been done, but I just wouldn't even consider that right away.
