Let's talk deodorants! I have yet to find one that doesn't leave white stains on my shirts, even when I use the clear gel kind. I'm using this now:
While it works well at keeping me cool, I always have to do a double-take after applying to see if there are stains on my shirts.

What's a good brand to try??

Deodorant or antiperspirant?

If you want the sweating to stop altogether you can try Drysol (aka CertainDri).. I don't think I've used anything that doesn't leave marks. I'll use Drysol if I'm in super hot and humid climates, like Hong Kong. Bleh!

I'm wondering about deodorants. The brand I'm currently using is good at keeping me dry but it does wonders on my clothes.

The best I have found is the Dove Silk "invisible" . . . even though it still has white residue . . .

I use Dove, all their invisible clear or whatever they're called are wonderful! The one I'm using now is Waterlillies? Dunno, but Dove is awesome.

I second Certain Dri. So long as you actually apply it at night, it really stops sweating to the point where I don't even worry about it.

I like both Dry Idea and Soft & Dri's clear gels. They leave very little residue.

what i do to minimize residue is to first apply the deodorant and get a paper towel and wipe it off. well not wipe it off, but more like blotting. i use secret clinical strength.

I just found an amazing antiperspirant/deodrant. Its by Secret called "Clinical Strength". You only put it on before sleep and I swear it works! You barely sweat. I cant imagine its all that good for you using it all the time long term, as your arm pits are meant to sweat but it works extremely well. It runs about $12 cd +txs, comes in a box and can be found in the deodorant section in any drug store.

Wow, you put it on BEFORE you sleep? I've never heard of that! Does it leave any residue overnight? What about the next morning, do you apply any more?

i would consider a deodrant stone. it won't stop sweating but it works as a deoderant and doesnt leave chemical residues.

the minerals in them kill bacteria that causes odour. they cost about $6 and they look like a slightly larger golf ball that is crystal. you apply it wherever needed while damp. they last a 4-5 months. i buy mine a natural/health store.

certain dry also makes a roll on you wear at night before you sleep.. they have a solid you can wear in the am as well..

I have both the certain dry and the secret clinical strength and I think the certain dry night time roll on probably works a little better , it appears to be stronger

they help with wetness alot for anyone that is interested..
