1. They usually come with an applicator -- it should look like fatty tweezers that are curved. I usually close my eyes and apply them from the inside out. Just try to place them as close to your lash line as possible. It helps if you have a big mirror too.
2. Put a thin strip of glue on them and let it sit for about 30 seconds so it's kind of tacky. If it comes off really easily, you're not putting enough -- but don't put too much. You'll figure out after you try it a few times just how much to put. Basically, you can pull it off really easily if you want, but it shouldn't come off by blinking a lot.
3. Most of the glue should dry clear, so you apply it after you've done your eye make up. Then go back and retouch it, add some more to make it blend, mascara, etc. That's what I do at least.

LOL
No makeup!!! The glue wont stick to your foundation...gotta have clean dry skin for the adhesive to work properly..and yes wait for the adhesive to become tacky before placing the false lash in place...
Once in place, try moulding them together with your own lashes by using really heavy/thick coats of mascara...know what i mean??

^^^No! Some may use it under, I guess, but make sure you use powder then to set it.

thanks everyone!!
i think i should cut back on the eye cream or at least let it dry b4 i put it on. it makes sense what kimmy said, a dry surface would work better
and probably more glue too =D
hopefully it will work out next time lol

i googled a sentence of this hoping to hit you with a plagiarism charge only to be disheartened that it appears you may have actually written it.

Of all the tutorials I've seen on applying false lashes, they are always the last step in the makeup process- after the eyeliner, eye shadow, etc. The best glue to use is duo glue...I've tried two other drugstore brands and it comes off wayy too easily...duo glue is a very nice adhesive that dries clear (the one in the white and blue box).
I recommend the following two tutorials, full with pictures:
1. Specktra.Net

I loved the Sephora lashes that come with one long set, one short one, glue and tweezers.
I like to take a full strip and cut it in half and apply to my outerlids.
Definately let the glue get tacky and don't open your eyes for a good 2 minutes or so otherwise you will be loosening the bond of the glue.
and PS SMART women use foundation/concealer on their eyelids to set eyeshadow. :P

A lot of girls do if they dont have an eye primer handy for eye shadow. Foundation makes for longer wear.
wangz09: have you tried maybe using the individual lashes as opposed to the whole set? They tend to be easier for application? Just a thought...
