Np, I have to remind myself of the same ;P I set my initial goal as 15 and then realized that being a size 24 probably isn't a totally healthy goal for my body.

ohhh this was stickied! yay!

keep up the good work ladies, I am still holding steady but I had an amaaazing workout today... unfortunately I got a flat tire on the way back from the gym...what a great way to ruin an endorphin high!

Jessani, I do think that 15lbs seems a bit much for your body type, maybe see how you feel after 8lbs and then decide how much further you want to go (if any)

Thanks so much for joining this thread ladies, you are all fantastic!
What?

Eh... I've gained about 3-4 pounds back from my initial 6 pound loss, but I'm !! FINALLY BACK AT SCHOOL !! so I expect to get right back on track this week! I've also decided to amend my earlier decision, I think before/after pics will be good motivation for me (but by PM only to active participants in this thread, of course). Anyone else going to take the plunge and do before/after with me?

ugh, I feel so gross today after lunch. I had fajitas which I love, but I had a coke with it and I think the food in my belly kept expanding for 3 hours after lunch....gross...

hopefully tomorrow will be better, I stocked up on some salad and will focus on fruits and veggies.

Oh, I was on the treadmill yesterday and wore the wrong socks, I ended up rubbing my achilles heel raw on both feet!!!! I have never done that before, now you can hear me coming at you, CLOP CLOP CLOP!

hopefully bandaids covering the 'owwies' will let me get back on the treadmill.

I have finally returned to residence and I went grocery shopping tonight. I bought fruits, veggies, ground turkey and whole grain bread. Tomorrow I am making chili with ground turkey and I can't wait!!!

hey everyone! It sounds like everyone is doing such a good job getting back on track! yay!

So I gained 3lbs over xmas/new years. That sucks, but it's nothing I"m going to let get me seriously down. I got a new treadmill and I have been running my arse off. Yesterday I did 'well-ish' until my friends came over and I ate so many munchies! UGH!!! Today I"m going to try to eat healthier and normal. I bagged up all of the chocolate in the house and put it in my boyfriends truck. Out of sight out of mind right?

I've got a full week to try and lose a little weight (I'm hoping some of it is water) before I go back to school. *must stay motivated!*

well, I was trying to figure if I had gained or sustained over the holidays. My scale isn't the most reliable, but i think I figured it out. It had me down 4 lbs, woohoo, then I was up 6 the very next day!!, but I settled down and think I only gained .5 over Christmas.

Not too bad, but a part of me was hoping to lose 2.5. not very realistic, huh?

I gained 2 pounds over Christmas/New Years but I have lost them. I am doing really well exercising (3x a week circuit) and the eating is going ok. I did have chinese food on Sat. night and couldn't stay away from the free crab rangoon.

*sigh* i'm totally bummed out about the weight gain right now. Nothing fits, but I dont' want to buy fat clothes (and I can't afford to after the xmas spending). I'm the fattest I've been in 2 years after losing 60lbs. I need some seroius inspiration. Is there any good message boards/sites for weight loss you guys like? I tried spark notes, but wasn't that into it.

can you post pics of your 60lb weight loss and inspire us, and then in turn we inspire you with our praise?

I weighed myself today and I gained 4 lbs from Christmas. I haven't ate any junk food in the last 3 days and I started going back to the gym today.

aw thats sweet of you to say. I don't think I let anyone take many photos of me then, and I certainly don't have any on the computer (and I wouldn't dare scan them!).

I've weighed in 5lbs less than when I came home (last thursday). I'm sure a lot of it was water weight from all the salty foods I was eating. That made me feel better today (a little). I also was able to get into a pair of RR crowns I got for xmas so that lifted my day. Does anyone else use fitday? I used to all the time, but now I find it hard to keep updating my calories (i'm being computer lazy).

Ugh... feel awful today. Last time I checked, I was down a pound (still in the +2 red zone though), but I feel so much fatter, you know? Like I have a feeling that I'll need to loose even more because my slip up cost me to bulk up a lot of just fat. ewww... So anyway, I was taking pics for WDYBT and I noticed how huge my upper arms look! Made me sad Do you think I should order free weights and try to tone them that way, or I could wait until spring term to deal with them? (I decided to take Conditioning as my spring sport, so I will work out 5 days a week and weight train).

edit: looked awful, so I replaced with one where I'm not slouching as much
