I'm looking for something that fits similar to Diesel Keever and Kander in the price range of up to 300 dollars? I've checked out APC and Nudie. Nudie seemed like they had much more to offer, but the fit guide kinda sucked. Any help is appreciated. The other thing is, I'm not too keen on crazy embroidered pockets.

APC or spend the extra 330 and get Diors. I personally really like APC. I have the new standards. I think the might be similar to the fit you want, or try Rescue, which are completely straight leg, not tapered, but are a little baggy.
But I think Dior MIJ 19 CM is the way to go. Great fit. I don't really like the 21 cm cut as much, but you can try that too.

I think you should look into APC's new cut, the Petit Standard. From what I've read/seen, it is cut more like those Diesel cuts. A.P.C.
See this guy's thread for some worn pics Petit Standard (bought yesterday)
If it's too slim, you could try the New Standard.

unless you like bootcuts apc has the best cuts. ns can be worn 2 different ways (slim straight, normal/relaxed straight), nc is very tapered and ps is slim throughout..

pbj, skull, or flathead. if you can go up to $300 there is NO reason to fuck with apc. they are amazing for the price, but compared to the jap stuff there really is no comparison.

Jskid,
These would be my first pair of raws. I'm kinda thinking of doing the apc to dior homme transition eventually? Something like 19cm?

no apc cut really translates to any dior cut, but if you were to compare the from the knee down it would be
21cm -> new standard (although ns is slightly tapered0
19cm -> new cure
17.5cm -> petit standard

you will never want 19cm based on the fits you like. they are between thanaz and safado on the slimness scale and pretty tapered. 21cm is a possibility but even those will be slimmer than you want i think. definitely slimmer than keever and kander at least. apc new standard would work, but there is better stuff available if you are willing to pay more.

I like the slimness of safado/slammer. I just want more of a taper than safado or viker have. I'm between apc new cure, new standard, and petit standard right now. The rise on new standard looks so high. I just bought a pair of paul smith boots, so I don't have the disposable money right now to just buy like 2 of each pair like I was going to to try to figure out sizes and fits.

dior 19cm if you are slim/tall, and want to stack that shit. they're too snug for athletic, or even average sized dudes. you're paying for the fit and the brand, quality wise they arent any better than most $200 japanese selvage denim. So no point in getting the 21cm since you can get something identical for $100 less. hit up superfuture.com and check out the galleries and how jeans fit thread for some more suggestions.
If you want a slim, slammer kind of fit, low rise, and dig on slubby denim, i'd recommend the pure blue japan xx-007:

I just got a pair of new standards in a 28 and love them. What pbj, skull, or flathead jeans would fit similiar? I still have alot of money to burn and might grab a pair of those. Also, is there anywhere online that I can check those out?
