No. I guess staying the same size as your Thanaz is the smallest you can go. Any smaller would not work out waist-wise, unless you are wearing your Thanaz sized up.
If you guys want fits similar to Thanaz, go for 17.5cm

^ 17.5cm and Thanaz are completely different in the seat area, thanaz is loose compared to 17.5. Also, back rise is super low on 17.5.

Consensus is: if you size up one from your Thanaz size for mij raws, you will have a jeans that is fitted in the waist and hips and slim all the way down the legs but not skinny.
If you are looking for a fit like your Thanaz but with a more fitted seat, go for 17.5cm.

i assume it's normal that my size 30 MIJ raws stretched to 34 inch waist since i dont wear them all that tight.
then why does the sizing info in this thread suggest to keep the same size 30 in MII washed pairs? makes no sense.

awesome fit, sh0ebox!
i already have some 19cm mijs, but i also have a pair of 17.5's (sheer indigo) on the way. i was originally a little worried that they may be tight/skinny than what i wanted, but those look great. a fine example of a fitted, slim jean.

I don't know when I should wash my indigos. Purchased on 12.4.08 and have worn them every day 'til now, give or take a few weeks. Is the rule to wear them until they stink? These can honestly go a few years without a wash 'cause I don't sweat.
I'm thinking of washing exactly a year from the day I bought them, 12.4.09

Post a pic of how they look right now. How much fading/contrast actually developped so far? How soon and how often you wash them should be determined by how you want your jeans to be.
If you want extreme contrast go with another brand but dior or at least wait some more time (at least another six months) and dont wash them often afterwards. If you want more subtle fadings and something that finally comes out like dust wash, you can probarbly wash them for the first time very soon (maybe another two or so months) and then start washing them regularly every two months or so.
But be aware that the nice shiny blue will be replaced after the first wash and it will never come back.

^ i'll see how they look in December.
I called up the Dior Boutique on 21 E 57th St. and they're sold out of UMC.
They said they have some wash called Armageddon...no idea what that looks like.
Anyway, when do you think they'll restock on the UMC? The sale will be over by then, but I was just wondering.

Armageddon:
Restocking on UMCs depends on wether KvA decides on another rerelease of UMC for FW09/10. You can probarbly find information regarding the upcoming release somewhere in the interweb.
