that's for sure the best excuse I've ever heard. Why are people dealing with ebay when they better run for their lives?
I strongly support the post of Kelly:
"DO NOT CLOSE THE DISPUTE unless you have the item in your hand or a refund."
I've once opened a paypal dispute about a not received item. Then the item arrived and I closed the dispute because the not received item has now arrived. But the item was not as described, so I wanted to open a new dispute but that wasn't possible. After emailing with paypal they opened a new dispute. So it's possible, but I think it is better to let the dispute open even when the reason for opening is not solved (no delivery).
