Okay so I won an auction for a pair of womens RR for quite a good price. My confirmed address on ebay is a Canada one but I usually get my things shipped to an US address I use. I had to message the seller twice if they could ship the jeans to my US address and they finally replied back saying "yes, just send me the address you want the jeans shipped to." So I did and also asked if he/she could send me a new invoice with the shipping rate to US and not Canada. I've sent that message at least 3 times and the seller has not replied, he/she has also put up new items during those times. I have a feeling the seller isn't replying back because I won the bid at such a low price. I dont want the seller to file a dispute claiming I haven't paid (because this same situation has happened to me before, resulting in me getting a strike when the seller just never replied back to my messages!) What can I do ?

Can you add a time line so we can decide of your have reason to worry of if your just being paranoid.

I won the bid on July 1st, its been about 2 weeks

Why don't you just confirm you shipping address in the US, this could all be avoided.

Two weeks is a little long but was this shipped inside the US or International ? It might take a while for customs.

I recommend opening a PAYPAL dispute for item never received with out their knowledge. In the comment section write that you've made multiple attempts contact the seller regarding the shipping of the item but have yet to respond. This way you have started a claim and it gives you and seller 10 days to resolve this issue or escalate into a full blown complaint.

I usually never have to escalate the complaint. I just use it as a way to let them know I aint playing around. If they still don't reply than I would escalate and go from there. Most sellers don't want to mess with Paypal for fear of getting thier assest frozen. Hopefully it won't come to this.

I would as a seller I would never send to an unconfirmed address.
So if they try anything you can always escalte the complaint and I'm pretty sure you'd win if they claim they were lost or sent but never received. Since the sellers gives up any PAYPAL protection if they ship to an uncomfirmed address you stand a good chance at getting you cash but the item.......not likey.

If I were you I would make such a stink and that it's easier to follow through with the sale at a loss rathe than go through all the trouble it would create trying to avod it and re-list.

sorry maybe I wasn't clear with my story, I haven't been able to make the payment yet because the current invoice includes the shipping rate to Canada which is 25.99, I'm trying to get him to send me a revised invoice that has the shipping rate to US (6.99) so I could make payment and he/she could ship the jeans. But he won't reply back nor send me a new invoice.

Am I able to change the shipping on my own ? I've tried but couldn't find any options that would let me do that.

Yea for sure after this I'm going to get that US address confirmed, thanks Cez

can't you just change the shipping on your own and put the address you want it to go to?

okay i got it, i feel like a total idiot ! the whole time i was looking for options on the invoice page when all i had to do was add another address in my info, such a newb in ebay
