and to answer your question the standard way to ship internationally is with EMS (express mail service) shipping which is through USPS. i was excited when usps announced that international priority shipping would be trackable and thought maybe it would allow me to open up my entire business to international shipping, but the flat rate priority envelope is generally not trackable which is just BS if you ask me. this basically makes priority mail international worthless. what you want to do is ship your jeans in a flat rate express mail envelope (not to be confused with the priority flat rate) which is $23.87 online and $25.95 at the post office. if you ship in a variable rate priority mail international envelope it would cost $22.80 and $24 respectively making it basically worthless.
its still a hassle and if you think people in the u.s. are nuts try dealing with the italians.
