I don't think she understands she can send her other account the money by using the send money option and using the email address of her new account? Personally I would not send two payments I think you are doing the right thing there is no reassurance that they would refund the other payment. There would be no paypal dispute or anything since you paid so I would not worry about that in any way since this is her issue really.

If she wants the money I would tell her to either send the money to the other account and give her detailed instructions or tell her to call paypal and give her their phone # so they can walk her through it or they can do it on the phone for her. Otherwise tell her you will pay her again once you get the money back but no way before not even by echeck. She seems nice in the emails but no way I would send two payments for any reason & trust to get the first one back but that is just me. It is really her issue I mean she could add her bank account again and get the money out as a last resort, she needs to sort it out herself & since your jeans are already mailed not like she can hold them hostage, lol till you pay 2X.

Had to add "I really can't send a refund w/o having another payment pending" YES YOU CAN! You just don't want to... people frustrate me! And "No, I cannot transfer the money fro one account to another. They don't let you," Again yes you can you either don't want to and think the buyer is stupid enough to believe you or you really just don't know how which can be easily fixed but looking on paypal for instructions or calling.

That is why I was nervous - she doesnt want to refund me until I pay her (2) for the same reason I dont want to pay without my refund.

Seriously, it was an honest mistake about the paypal acct.

I have 2 paypal accounts, one premier and one just regular account and I can transfer money no problem between the two.
Given that the seller is asking the buyer to do a favor of sorts, IMO the refund should be sent to the buyer first and then the buyer can then issue the payment to the new paypal address.
Either way, this is an enter at your own risk for both parties because HF and paypal cannot and will not be able to get involved if something goes awry.

You could ring paypal and have both accounts merged into one. It would take about 2 minutes.

You can transfer any money from any account to any other account no matter what type of account you have personal/buisness what not, that is exactly how people pay each other. I bet a 5 min phone call to paypal would resolve this whole issue & they would tell you exactly your options and fix it all for you on the phone. Sorry but I don't take back what I said and no I don't know the whole situation but reading what you two wrote and still stick by my statement. Never said either of you was in the wrong just the buyer does not have to do you the favor of resending the money and I personally would not do it until I got he refund first out of safety.

im assuming the paypal account she originally sent the funds to is now limited due to too many paypal disputes. now they have a new paypal account with a relative or family members information and want the money sent there. there should be no problem refunding money from the limited account through the issue a refund button, but obviously they cant send money out to another account i.e. there other account.

I don't have any disputes on my paypal. I never said I am unable to refund money from the first account. I said I couldn't "just transfer" money from one to the other.
