Just wanted to check and make sure these were authentic. I think these were advertised for sale on here but I can't remember for sure. Here's the link.

The reason I thought they were fakes is the coloring. All the fake ones had that sort of dark-greenish coloring and I'd never seen a real one with it. But interestingly, the LAB on all the really bleachy 796's is 330 and on yours its 222. They also have microstitching, so I conceed that they probably ARE real. My initial reaction was rather off-the-cuff and was based on their high similarity in color to my fakes. NOT FAKES PEOPLE, I STAND CORRECTED |

These are super old. From 01'. They stll have the yellowy rust finish on them, and they have never been washed. thats why they give off that color. I had a pair of fankers exactly like them. The 796 is such a crazy wash, there's so much variation. I have 7 and they all look totally different.
They are REAL, I just didnt want people looking at my auctions thinking I sell fakes. I NEVER would.
