Thanks Ben. Based on my relative's buying habits (everything new--usually from Diesel stores), I assumed they were real. Just wanted to confirm. Any idea on the model?

go with something more modern than those. those wouldnt be in a list of "premium" denims anytime soon, or ever again, hopefully

For future reference feedback doesn't mean crap! There are some sellers with thousands of positive feedbacks who are selling fakes It just means they had a lot of people who know nothing about real or fake bid on there stuff and think it was real!
