hi, just writing this out for everyone, since alot buy from dieselofmiami (including me) and a few others seem to complain about his goods.

myself:
i have bought two pairs of jeans from him: Zathan 772 and Rabox 832
(sp?).

using the Zathan 772 as the case study, i have to say i saw no "defects" from the jeans. i have gone shopping in the past year in tons of Diesel stores in the US and also went to the flagship stores in Italy as well as other stores which simply sell Diesel jeans and everytime i check out the jeans that i owe too. there seems to be a good amount of abberation which is actually expected because Diesel claims the scratches are hand made.

the ONLY thing that made me consider flaw is that the bottom scratch that has alot of dark diverging vertical lines wasnt as distinct as some i seen. that said, it could simply be abberations or it can be that i dont remember what my jeans looked like before i started comparing them to the ones i saw in stores. overall this is negligible and really doesnt prove anything about defect.

the rest of the jeans, the cutting, the "feel", the patterns all seem correct and authentic. i know someone mentioned that there's defects "you cant see with your eyes" in these jeans, but that argument doesnt hold for me because if you cant see the defects with your eyes (assuming yuo know what you're doing) then theres simply no defect. im sure Diesel quality control doesnt pick up an electron microscope to check the "molecular structure" of their jeans to see if they past quality control. that already sounds absurd

add to the fact that Raul offers great service and i think hes pretty good deal in many cases where you can buy a pair of jeans for 130$ (including shipping) when the retail is 180+ dollars.

im done !

I am with you on that one. It is great for people that don't have the money that much money to get it at retail and also great for people who live far from anywhere to purchase diesels. I am glad we have an honest ebayer doing this, and his jeans are great to me.

ofcourse zathansrule is right that on SOME jeans that are usually retail for like 130 ish dollars...you are really only saving around 30 dollars or a little less if you buy online...i think usually dieselofmiami seems to set the price such that its around 20-50 dollars cheaper to buy from him than retail (including shipping). at 20 dollars cheaper i go to the store (90% of my jeans are from stores) but once it starts getting about 50$ or more i start to consider them.

i also think you really only need 2-3 nice jeans max since people arent going to notice anymore than that really, although i know i have like 10 of Diesel's fall season jeans so that makes me a hypocrit but i really love denim and really dress up for my personal pleasure rather than impressing others.

also just another note. i think you can tell dieselofmiami to help handpick some of the jeans a little since they are all a tad different (handmade) if you are very anal about getting a certain effect on your jeans. just be nice to people and you'll be surprise how many will be nice to you. certainly saying "RAUL YOU SELL FAKE JEANS" isnt gonna get you much help from him!
