I was at Diesel Santa Monica today - The wash of 8WW looks great in person, but some of the distressing details are poorly executed (think, "cat scratch")... so it's almost a push. There's variation from pair-to-pair in the form of "bleach" stains - a couple pairs looked really cool and others looked so/so based on this variable. I hope they do a version of 8WW sans the scratches, because it's a really deep wash and one of the best looking I've seen in a while.

There was also pair of red safados that were impressive because of the sheeny tone-on-tone stitch. Too bad nobody is clamoring for red jeans, but if they did the same effect for black or gray safados it would look really nice.

8WN looks good. Is it me or does Zatiny look more and more like Zathan? I wore some Zathans last week and could swear that I was wearing bell-bottoms.
Do these Zafs make me look fat?

if im not mistaken there is also those safados in black with royal blue stitching... they are awesome because of the offset in color!

No, Viker R-Box is just the viker cut with double button of the rabox.

Most of the new washes can be seen in different online stores. Anyway, here are the pictures I took at the store. Thanaz 8WW is on eBay by the way...if it wasn´t for the cigarette burns DIESEL THANAZ WASH 8WW BLUE JEANS BRAND NEW SIZE 30 bei eBay.de: Jeans (endet 08.07.09 05:10:55 MESZ)

VIKER 8XZ:

VIKER-R-BOX 8XE:

ZATINY 8XR:

TIMMEN 8XJ:

THANAZ 8WW:

Really, the cig-burns don't bother me as much as the preponderance of cheesy cat-scratch shit all over the jeans. The look is so obviously canned it's funny they have the nerve to ask $300. No doubt, these will be falling from the skies at $150 within a few months.

Too bad - if you take away the most of the distress shit, it's a nice-ass wash.

What did you think of 8WM?

I'm disappointed of all washes above. Maybe I can go with Thanaz 8WW with minimum cigarette-burns and tripled cat-scratches.

And as I wrote, I like also Krooley 8YM, but I need to see more wear - pics... (at least 8YM looks promising to me).

Out of all the new washes 8WM is my favorite so far. Unfortunately Zatiny is not my cut. I hope it comes out in Safado or Thanaz someday...

I also think 8YM is going to be a really good wash. But I havenīt seen it in person yet.

By the way... Also available at the store:

Darron 8WW
Thanaz 8XE

I'll get the 8WW as soon as it falls to 150, I hope you guys are right about this. I don't like the back pockets that much, though. Worn pictures would be cool!!

at least Timmen isn't discontinued. The 8xj wash looks like one you have to see in person, at least they have new back pocket designs. The Viker R-Box 8xe look nice with the leather on the coin pocket and the back pocket.

Thanaz 8XE
The ass dragons are back. My pair runs a bit tighter than 8IE and 8XE is 100% cotton. The fabric's a bit rigid.

TIMMEN 8XJ is probably the worst pair of jeans ever created, they are so ugly you want to punch them.

I think I'm going to have to update the first post with all the new washes and pics so it's easier for people to have a general view of what's coming up this season.
