Hi everyone,
As many of you have heard I have been graciously asked to moderate the Diesel section for the HF and for those of you haven’t heard I am happy to announce that I am. At this time I’d like to tell everyone a little bit about myself and provide a brief introduction to any new members who don’t know anything about me.
My name is Cesar and I’m originally from the Washington, DC area but have recently relocated to New York to complete my Education degree at Concordia College at Bronxville. In addition to having a passionate love for fashion I also have strong desire to help those around me, which I do through various volunteer work and being active in and around my community. I am an artist at heart working with various mediums (paint both oil & acrylics, charcoal, and just about anything I can get my hands on). One my greatest accomplishments as an artist has been having a few of my pieces featured in a promo for the Discovery channel. I also have a strong passion for writing and although I’ve yet to complete any great works I am always writing something and am currently working on a few science fiction pieces. I am also an avid reader and collector of books, comics, graphic novels or anything worth reading (one of my favorite writers is Vonnegut) and can plow through a book like nobodies business. I am also very conscience of my health and spend a lot of time working out and running. No marathons yet but maybe someday.
I started wearing Diesel jeans back in 2003. My very first pair was Zathan
772, which I wore into the ground, and like many of you have been hooked ever since. Prior to this I had no idea what designer denim was but my love of Diesel brand brought me here where I’ve been a member since March ’07. That said many of us have different stories and reasons for finding and staying here. HF means a lot to me and I know it does to many others. It helped me develop a stronger fashion sense and enlightened me in many ways, so when I see new members join it’s easy for me to relate to them. It also reminds me of how far I’ve come.
As the new mod of the Diesel section I’d like to work toward making the Diesel section a friendlier (meaning more helpful), meaningful place for new and current members to have fun while elevating one another’s fashion sense. I am not asking anyone to change in fact I think we already have a really strong and dedicated community, that not only towers above any of other fashion forum but is also a friendly place to hang out and push ourselves to be the best that we can be fashion wise. However I think we could definitely work on helping one each other more rather than fighting amongst ourselves.
That said, Thanks for reading my long ass introduction. Please feel free to contact me if your have and concerns or questions.
Smell ya later,
Cez

Thanks James. I've always admired your dedication and hard work. I know your over Diesel jeans but I hope It doesn't stop you from coming back to contribute every now and again. It would honestly suck for the HF to lose such a valuable and informed member such as yourself.

And ironically, the above sentence makes incorrect usage of "be."
So wait... is the "unlocked" jskidder a spoof or is it really James?
