I went to the new Montreal Diesel flagship today and I must say that it's one chic looking store. Really encourage Montrealers and Torontoers to go have a look. Anyway, some pics of those jeans (I apologize for the mediocre quality):

Darron 8LG:

The dark indigo wash is very nice, but the denim is not exactly soft to touch. The fit, however is exactly how others described: Safado thigh-like, Slammer (more accurate) leg-like. I think I've found my cut.

Slammer 73J (For the color of the wash, refer to JCD's Zathan 73J thread):

It's no mistake you saw - those Slammers have no zippers on the backpockets. I tried on a pair of 28x34 and as you can see, they are gimped 34Ls. They were quite tight around the waist (I had no serious problem buttoning up though) and slim throughout. The black patches really stick out, which I didn't like that much. Note that these are 100% cotton.

Good luck with that. I saw a lot of staff man-ing the posts. Maybe a bit too much. But then again, it was a rainy day today so it's not the ideal situation to assess.

Seeing as how Slammer is built perfectly for certain body types, I think it's nice to have a choice of zippers or no zippers...

Zippers are amongst the worst idea that diesel has come up with. I cannot begin to explain how ridiculous they look.

The zippers on slammers always break.

Also, Thanaz 8jf and Safado 8HL are not European models.
