I've searched for awhile trying to find some frame of reference for these, but have as of yet been unable to. There are alot of posts on the subjects, but nothing that really gives a reference to anything, so I'm having trouble figuring out my size. I wear a 8.5 in converse all stars. A 9.5 in Nike air cross trainers and an 8 in Gordon Rush dress shoes. Could someone please help me out. I want to buy boots, but I'm pretty sure you can't return things to Yoox. Thanks

usually for dress shoes you'll have to size down one from your sneaker size... moma are about a half size big so go with an 8. if it doesn't fit Yoox will accept returns

I wear a 10 in Gordon Rush and a 10.5 in Moma. Although some say they run a half size large i have not found that to be the case with any of my Moma. I would go with your Gordon Rush size (dress shoe size) or a half size bigger. Although i wear a 10 in all dress shoes, size 10 moma was too small for me.

I find that if you take the indefinite integral of your Nike cross trainer shoe size, and then doing a Taylor series expansion you take the 3rd root of the nth binomial to get the partial derivative. Then set the partial derivative equal to the cube root of the natural log of pi squared and solve to get your Moma shoe size!

^my thougths exactly but i would suggest using the 5th root of the nth binomial as i usually get a more precise result that way.

I am usually a 44 in most shoes. The moma oxford (singular because Yoox sent me two different sized shoes) I tried in 44 fit me well, and I would say on the more snug side (but not tight) than loose.

You forgot that you also need to do a triple integral to find the volume of the foot, and solve a set of partial differential equations to find how the foot will expand with respect to time to find out the expansion due to heat as the day goes on. After that you need to measure the thickness of his socks and calculate their expansion due to sweat based on their material. When you finally have his foot and an average thickness of his socks before/after expansion, you can solve for the size he needs in the morning, afternoon, and at night.

I am about a true size 12.5 US. I wear 13 in most sneaks.. I wear a 12 in vans however since they are 45.5.
I ordered a 45 or 12 in momma boots and the fit is dead on.
Yoox ships a return label with most of their stuff, so dont be afraid to take the plunge.
Hope this helps.
