I just found these up in Vancouver. They have the Thanaz for $219 canadian! thats prettymuch unheard of for Diesels up here. I'm thinking about going back tomorrow and pickin up a pair. I saw these JUST after I was at Holt Renfrew and bought some G-Star's that fit just like the thanaz cause I didn't see any diesels I liked Only thing I didn't like was they were kind of a shiny weird feeling denim and I don't know how they're gonna fade/wear. I ushally go for the really heavy denim Diesels.

Wow, I just love Diesel's ad campaigns...
Haha, soooo cute:
Wow:
Anyways, I think the jeans look fine...Sure the footwear might not suit the style or blah blah blah... But addidas had to throw in some obvious product placement somewhere...Since on the jeans, they are well blended in... So it's a win win for both of the companies...

Only guess I got is Diesel is a european brand and lots of europeans like sports like soccer and the whole slimmer fit jeans with addidas runners. Kind of that English soccer fan kind of style. lol so they kind of work good together. Thats about all I got if that at all made sence. lol I know in my head what I mean but was having trouble putting it into words. Think of somethin like Euwan Mcgreeggor in Trainspotting kind of thing. Slim fit jeans, runners, track jacket, shaved head. Maybe a soccer jersey

as a longtime adidas junkie, i love this collab. the original adidas symbol is one of the rare logos i'd proudly rock.

I went to Adidas store today and checked out both Thanaz and Viker. Surprisingly, those are much cheaper than I thought.
Both Thanaz 8IE(Stretch)
& Thanaz 8AA(Stretch) are $160
Viker 8BI is $210
& Viker 8IK is $189 or 199(I think)
I forgot how much Viker 88z is.....
Anyway, the thanaz 8IE(black) I tried on fit pretty snug, and the waist is obviously much tighter than my thanaz 8AA and thanaz 8GZ. I think I'm gonna get these since I need a pair of black thanaz.

Hmmm I wonder if that means that the unwashed isn't actually raw denim then? If they're using existing washes, but just adding the Adidas logo...

Thanaz_unwashed is actually 8AA, but the wash looks somehow slightly different from normal thanaz 8aa.

Interesting... I can definitely see the 8IK in the Viker... did it list those wash names on the tags? For some reason I thought they would be completely new washes.

they are not new washes, just rehashed versions of current diesel washes and none of them are raw. i thought they could have at leased not repeated washes that already exist in these cuts, but whatever. i won't be buying any of them anyhow because i hate branding on my clothes, so sporting 2 brands at once is pretty over-the-top to me.

Booo... I only would have considered getting the Unwashed Viker because I thought it was raw... but since it's not, the branding is too much.
