Style is subjective, what may be disgusting to you is perfectly fine for others. Its a matter of preference. Thats what makes fashion so broad. If everyone had to wear clothes the same way, and follow distinct rules, fashion wouldn't reall exist.

Whatever he is wearing it's the wrong cut. "Underoath" looks like a bunch of overweight chumps to me.

Do they scream angrily about how cool Jesus is? I don't get it.
Although the religious affiliation explains their look. Now that I'm thinking about it, they look like a bunch of choirboys who went to rocker camp.

^haha not exactly...i guess you have to go to one of their shows or listen to their music. I guess they all used to be real bad into drugs and all that junk but then you know they went to church and it saved them and that whole story. their music is kind of one of those things only teenagers get (which pretty much means its stupid). but nonetheless, im a teenager and like their music but im quite sure that in the next few years im going to be thinking the same thing you are right now ...

I'm just bashing their look, which is apparent without listening to their records. I'd be willing to give them a shot...but I'll be on guard for indoctrination

Underoath Rocks. I'm not religion, but they have a good sound. In there type of music, that style of jeans, even on overweight guys is what is in.

Like you said, all in opinion. To each his own. I wonder what album you listened to? THe band has been through changes. I am happy to see that not all people on here just listen to mainstream. That that I would know it people on here do.

I think it is. HArd to tell, but for sure something 772. It's funny to see that video when they had there old singer and they had a totaly different style as in baggy jeans and much shorter hair. The music has changed a lot with the new singer, but I still enjoy. they all let there hair grom out too and I perosonaly think they have better fashion now. I wear slim jeans and have longer hair too, so that could be why. Not as long as the drummer thoguh. That's long, but works for some people.

Mainstream music is cool but I hate the overkill the radio does to many good songs. I dig the British bands right now and one from Sweden, hehehe.

^i personally think their second cd (theyre only chasing safety) is the best cd. 'a boy brushed in red...living in black and white' is definately my favorite song. i recommend checking it out, i think its better than the first cd. the drummer arron gillespie is just so sweet and talented the way he drums and sings.

well i count Cries of the Past as their first CD even though it's only an EP, so TOCS is their third CD, and i own it but don't listen to it. i gave it a try, though.

I think they are good either way. There old stuff is a lot different and each day may have different mood. If I want to listen to Underoath with more Metal sounding I listen to the old stuff. Ifmore poppy, the new. Whatever works for me that day. I got into them with tehre old first though. I know all there albums and yes, the drummer can play drums well and sing and that can be hard doing both. I think mainstream music can be good with some bands, but yeah, the same song played over and over again can be too much unless you wanna repeat it on you cd that is.
