A couple of problems with this: 1) Not everyone has an ebay store near them. This especially applies to folks living outside the US 2) 90% of wholesalers are ALSO selling fakes, 3) Diesel stores will not have older models etc etc

I agree that under perfect circumstances everyone would buy their diesels from the store but this simply is not always feasable. Plus, diesel stores rarely sell things discounted at all, and there are those of us (like me ) who like to save money on things on general principle or because they see it as their duty to themselves to be smart consumers...
